Interesting enough it was performed not that far from Redcliffe, where the song's original performers and writers were from; I'm talking about the Bee-Gees. Remember Kim picking up an framed award for her Greatest Hits album too that night (which she was rather chuffed about). Unfortunately the awards show was up against the 3hr season finale of Hey Hey its Saturday on Channel 9 which trounced the TV ratings that evening. It was quite common for the performers to sing live in awards shows back then. And still is in Australia. Kim did the song proud, it was a very strong rendition as with all her covers she has done over the years.
