I literally dislocated my shoulder on a DIY prop that my department built. Please fill your pool area with more foam then you think you need. Also make sure that the fire fighters feet clear the stairs area before dropping them. This will make sure they are not going down face first. Happy training!

What are the building plans for this prop, I would like to make one.
How long is the actual platform. It looks like either 48'' or 60''. Would it hurt to make the platform longer?
