Vintage San Diego on Facebook I don’t know but, more needs to be filmed in San Diego! In movies they either film in SD and call it something else or film it somewhere else and pretend it’s SD. Notable exception: Traffic (2000)
for some reason in the last season they made Dennis this perfect do gooder that looked down on everyone and they made the father much more strict almost like Ward
Yet if Dennis the Menace had never existed, then young Matt Groening would have never felt inspired to create The Simpsons after he watched Dennis the Menace!
I'm 46 years old, and this is my first time watching this show. I love it. But this show went way downhill when Mr. Wilson died. But at least MRS. Wilson was still on it, and then they stupidly went and got rid of her!! I'm on the last 2 episodes of season 3 (I figured I'd keep watching it cause at least MRS. Wilson was still on ti), but I don't know if I'll even BOTHER watching season 4.
I'm watching Bewitched now, and learning a lot about 'behind the scenes' and stuff... what I'm learning is that every show has a whole story behind the show... so much drama, and stuff... that could be made into a movie about the making of the show! Dennis too... things change a lot when people die and they adapt... I love Joseph Kearns.... there is no replacing him!
I always felt sorry for Sylvia Field and like you, I much preferred Martha to Eloise. She got pushed out of the show for circumstances beyond her control. But in the producers' defense, it would have been tough to keep her on as living with her brother-in-law ... and the longer she remained, how long could the story about George being on a business trip hold up?
I think there are two hotels they showed, one in each episode In the Zoo episode the street looked too "LA" to me with the big evergreens on it. The Navy episode, that hotel looked like it could be SD.
Growing up in the 60's back then we went every summer to all the different attractions. Better times.
This was 9 years before I went to the the zoo when I was little!
San Diego is seemingly a good zoo. Missed my opportunity.
Wow! My old home town, and when things were more reasonable.
Too bad, now to live there is very expensive. The Midwest is a simple life.
Fantastic!🤩
That old looking building is still there at Cañon & Rosecrans in Point Loma
Really surprised that that is still there!
strange obscure spot for a scene...
Do any of the other spots look familiar? Is that even NTC? I already cut out the motel...nothing familiar about it or the street.

My grandfather’s block they owned with the Point Loma Pharmacy and the Village Store!!😀As of 2024 the Village Store is still going strong!
Try climbing those Zoo canyons in heels!!!

@@buckeyeschmave They could have kept her on.
San Diego has nothing to do with aging wine !
I spy Liberty Station and Shelter island 9:17 before anything was on it. I wonder if the motel with the pool is the Dolphin Motel on Scott st.
