yes another channel "super yacht captain" did a video where he mentions the shadow boat carrying extra fuel for the primary yacht and the vessel he did a tour on had tanks for helicopter fuel.
Stunning. Far nicer, in my eyes, than most of the ‘over exuberant’ super yachts around. Lovely clean interior with a distinct lack of tacky nonsense on board.. Glad to her I don’t necessarily have to have a flashy big boat to own one of these 😉😂

This is more my style, utilitarian, not artsy-fartsy, yet comfortable, even for crew, if I had the dough. Myself, I would prefer to eat and sleep where the crew does, so if I had the means, just one central galley and mess hall. If the paying guests don't like that, they can stay ashore or book another vessel.
I suppose you never did a cruise on a boat like that. Even (more) the crew doesn't want to stay with gests/owners. Don't forget they're living on there work place. They want their own space, a bit of independance and privacy when they are not supposed to work. Same in the other way. You're the owner, you don't want a meet a resting crew member you maybe don't even know at 2:00am , both in underwear while you both go to kitchen to take something to eat during a sleepless night. Just an example over a thousand. You don't want to eat and sleep next to your boss. Same for them.
