I was at the concert, and this performance had me in tears. The love between Mariah and her daughter Monroe made me feel so warm inside. I am so happy for the two of them to have experienced this special moment in their lives. Having read Mariah's book, I understand what a gift it is for Mariah to be able to love her daughter in the way she yearned to be loved as a child. I am touched beyond words.

I actually heard Monroe this time ! She sounds like she has her moms breathy tone. Just beautiful. Her hair , dress , love the tiara 👑! Dahling. YES! They both looked beautiful and harmonized well ! What a beautiful memory to always have to look back on !

Monroe is just so adorable. The way she looks at her mom and how she sings from her heart with not a worry that she might be judged (for being a legend’s daughter)-her innocence, it really touched me.

Awww. This was beautiful. And so lovely to see them interacting like this. What a sweet voice from Monroe. I like the ethereal touches that Mariah was adding with her whistle and her falsetto. Monroe also did a very nice head voice along with Mariah at one point.

It's crazy that everyone complain about everything when there's nothing to complain about. People arguing over a pre-recorded track, or about her vocal skills, or even about who is the next Mariah. But can't you just appreciate how genuine and magical this moment is?

Having a musical background, and mainly singing, I know how tough it can be. A cold, or weather/humidity changes, extreme stress... so many factors can affect your voice. People expect her to be perfect all the time.. they forget that she is human lol
Also, she's really terrible and lipsyncing, this was live, I can see that her mouth/facial expressions match the sounds that she's making properly.

this is literally autotuned with back up vocals. as a matter of fact, i highly doubt this is even what her voice sounds like. it's a shame that the pressure of fame made mariah feel like she had to do this. it would have been just as sweet if she was singing a song with her daughter, regardless if her daughter could sing or not.

This was a BEAUTIFUL performance & maybe Monroe's part was lip synced but I think that's just nerves & not wanting to mess up in front of thousands of people (well millions if you count the live broadcast) ..I don't hold that against either one of them, she's clearly very gifted just like her mother. I know I still enjoyed the performance & I'm sure others did too which is really all that matters at the end of the day. 🐑🎄♥️
I think they were both lip synching. Mariah has a certain thing she does with her facial expressions and hand movements when she does it. I don’t think it’s intentional but there’s a clear difference. She almost acts for the camera. She was also giving her daughter subtle cues to come in.
@@lindseysanders3656 It's VERY obvious this was lip sync. Their voices doesn't sound natural, and the timing doesn't sync well with the pre recorded vocals. The one who made is super obvious was Monroe. Her movements and postures didn't affect one single bit of her voice, and we all know in vocal pedagogy that movements and posture plays a major factor
