- In today's vlog we head over to Aquatica for Kelly's birthday party. We show you around the Ultimate Cabana we had for the day. Then we venture out into the park for some water slide fun. Although one of our friends was injured on the first slide we were able to have a pretty okay day. Thanks for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new video!

As the owner of a SeaWorld fan page, I'm terribly sorry about your experience at Aquatica. The employees were totally wrong on how they handled the situation. The life guard working that slide should have been smarter when saying it would be okay to ride all together. Aquatica's guest services should have done everything in their power to make up for your bad experience on the water slide. I hope that the mistake of a few employees at Aquatica won't deter you from visiting that park or the other SeaWorld Parks in the future.

I Entirely agree with you. That was the fault of the employees and they should Really Fix Their mistakes. When i heard that they were not concerned when one of Tim's friends got hurt and they didn't do anything about it, that concerned me. And in the video Tim said he was very concerned. I do hope that one mishap will not keep you from having fun at theme parks. ~Sincerely

Poor Doug!! I can't believe how they treated you guys. That's terrible, you shouldn't go there again anytime soon. I watched Jenns snapchat and saw the full story and I was shocked about their behavior towards an injured person BECAUSE of the ride. But glad you guys had some fun!
Wow, I would think after that kid died at the water park in Kansas City, the staff at Aquatica would be more concerned. That must have been so scary for Doug. I'm glad he's okay.

Next time you go to aquatica and go on the fast river rapids thing put on a life vest! It makes it so fun because you can just float and it pushes you!

Totally agree we Rode that slide last week with our kids whilst fun we really did have to hold on tight especially when it's dark.
Was great to meet you in Disney's Hollywood studios on our last night as well, thanks for stopping for the picture.
Oh my god... Poor Doug! I can't believe how irresponsible those people were at the park! Uncalled for and very scary! Sorry that happened but I hope you all made the best of it and that Kelly did have a Happy Birthday.

I'm seeing all these comments about how bad Aquatica is...I've been there 2 times, and nothing bad has happened! Im gonna go for a 3rd time for my birthday, i LOVE Aquatica, Of course im very concerned for everyones injuries, and health, but honestly that rarely happens, and i do agree that Aquatica should be more, safe

Wow, I hope every one of your subscribers sees this video. Poor Doug! Lunch doesn't make up for what he went through. I'm so glad he wasn't more seriously injured. They really need to step up and make sure people are safe on their rides.

Wow, we were in Aquatica 2 1/2 weeks ago and went on the big black raft ride with my hubby and 2 kids, while fun we all felt like we were going to fly out! Thankfully we were balanced in the raft and able to cross our legs over the kids, very surprised with the lifeguards reaction!!
You would think with what happened to that little kid at a water park in the midwest, all water parks across the country would be paying more attention to safety on their rides. Sad that they didn't show more concern for Doug.
That was very unprofessional of them to not be concerned. I've been to Aquatica a few times, so hearing what happened left me surprised. But glad to know that Doug is okay! Also, happy belated birthday, Kelly!

Gotta love Florida...we always got stuck in a downpour everytime we decided to go to a waterpark. If only we could get some of that rain in poor drought ridden SoCal....send it out here, please.

Happy B Day Kelly! I'm sorry it didn't turn out to be as good as it could have been. I hope you're doing better Dug. Yea, that was a pretty bad incident. I did like the cabana section of the park. That was really nice. The areas with the animals was also great. I wish more water parks had that. Safety needs to come first though. They may need to train their staff better.

The Seaworld folks could of really made aquatica super but for some reason fell short of a super water park. I am hopeful that the new volcano bay at universal will be up to the challenge. I here that Disney is doing some work at Typoon lagoon with a new ride, and rumored to be getting rid of the shark reef swim...Any updates or ideas ?
I'm actually quite shocked that Aquatica staff weren't bothered about the accident that happened on the slide! Hope Doug is alright.

I had an annual pass for two years at Aquatica. Sadly, it just expired this month but I definitely love it there! Roa's rapids is my absolute favorite, but it's sooo much more fun when you put a life jacket on. With the life jacket on, you can just lift up your feet and you'll float through really fast! Way more fun then when you don't have the jacket on and have to keep your feet down! :)
Also, definitely not cool how they handled your friend getting hurt!!
Tim and Jenn I completely understand where y'all are going through. I follow Jenn on snapchat and heard the whole story and I work on a hospital and work with EMT and with some of them that is there personality with the being numb to it, but most of them would be concern. So hope you have a good day. I am on your side, with Doug's injury and the way y'all were treated.

Wahhh sorry you guys had a less-than-good day :( If I ever make it out to Orlando I'll probably go to Aquatica, but more for the animals than the rides. We used to have Commerson's dolphins at SeaWorld San Diego but they were taken off exhibit around 2011 and then sent over to Aquatica Orlando a few months ago. Very glad Doug is OK, and happy (belated) birthday Kelly!!
Have you been to the LEGOLAND water park yet? It's not as big as Aquatica, but the Build-A-Raft river is pretty awesome.

Also if I can shed light into the whole Doug falling out thing, working as a lifeguard at a similar park to Aquatica, we don't tolerate people falling out of tubes and what not. Them handling the injuries wasn't proper but under normal circumstances it's nearly impossible to fall out of those tubes. Clearly there was too much weight on the tube so it's on the lifeguard who was dispatching you guys to make sure the weight limit isn't exceeded

it's pretty massive and has great rides

I hated that tube ride the one and only time I rode it, all four of us felt we were going to come flying out of it, scary Mary !!! Not my favourite water park when we come over from London, much prefer Disney water parks. Poor Doug, bruised and battered but food vouchers for the pain??? Beer vouchers should have been given 🍺🍺 xx
It's crazy how careless the lifeguard was considering the recent death at the Schlitterbahn (spelling?) water park.
I agree with you guys if you want a water park in Orlando Typhoon Lagoon is the place to go.

I'm going to aquatica in a week it never gets old the roas rapids is my favorite everybody saying how they got hurt and all and they almost drowning since it was going fast which is why everybody gets life jackets when it comes to this one

Aquatica is really bad with injuries. Last time that I went, this guy cut his foot open in the rapids and it took them like a good 10 minutes to bring a towel to cover the cut that was gushing blood into the water and the didn't even close the rapids down. It was disgusting because the guy was clearly in pain and they didn't do much to help him so his friend had to call an ambulance to take them to the hospital because the lifeguards weren't doing anything. Also, I just realized that Kelly resembles my favorite teacher Mrs. Christie. They look alike and are both really funny and sweet! Mrs. Christie loves Florida and goes to Disney all the time! Her classroom is decorated in all things Disney, it's really great!

that sucks you guys didn't get to enjoy your day at aquatica. during the rainy season of FL it's really not the best time to go to aquatica or any water park here. Hope next time you guys go if you go back have a better time.
