The Simla Deputation was the delegation of the Indian Muslims who met the viceroy under the leadership of Sir Agha Khan. The major demand of the deputation was the right of Separate Electorate.

In 1916, on the occasion of Lucknow Pact, the Indian National Congress recognized the separate electorates for Muslims in India. Later on, it was opposed in Nehru Report of 1928.
