Anytime someone is like we need the royals because they bring in money, like girl, you’re from a country that colonized most of the world I promise you don’t need the royals anymore, especially because the royals aren’t considered regal in this time, most ppl see them as nepotism that have profited from the back of colonial power. They represent the atrocities that millions of ppl have suffered at their hands. People aren’t going to England only because of the royals, it’s your writers, your architecture, so much more etc the royals as we know them are just celebs especially in social media era we know understand how unimportant they are, if they need a pr team they’re just entertainers at this point

They are more of a firm than a Family.
Well, that's what taxpayers pay for. And it is less than 2 quid per taxpayer per year.

You have a platform and responsibility to set a tone of decency. I’m Australia and it’s unbelievable how much gossip, criticism and critiquing the British media do regarding the Royals…it is like the media and the public “own” them…some people loose sight of the facts…they are real people..have their owns to live and are entitled to privacy just like everyone else..they have their ups and downs as a family…but a lot of people try to hold them to their standard when in fact they should be working on getting their own house in order….they are not public property…their role is to help govern and run the country/s
