Look on the bright side, Tt are working extra to give us an amazing and more original game. It is delayed, but they are working to not put out a lame or trash game. Also, I can’t wait!
@@DJKWEST- the game is mostly done. polishing it to get rid of bugs is the issue. it’s taking them so much time because they’re using a new engine so fixing bugs is probably harder. either way they’re having a hard time fixing bugs

Actually, no. They're actually recording "new" lines for this game, meaning little to no audio from the films will be used.

i love how every 30 seconds you cut to one of three cinematic shots with loud star wars music playing, really helps with the flow of your video

I wouldn't be surprised if the "Classic Characters" DLC is really just older versions of Luke Skywalker and co. minifigs
Get the feeling that they may do some famous legends characters, such as Revan or Starkiller

I like that they’re not doing what they did with the Harry Potter games and just put them together as a remaster. They’re actually making new levels instead of reusing the old ones.
I honesty can't believe this is coming out almost 3 years after the rise of skywalker came out. it would've been perfect to release this soon after the movie did...

The lego games are always fun games to play with someone. I really hope they spend more time fixing bugs of older games in the future. Lego City sometimes gets stuck and that's a real shame.

There's been Many games that I can't wait to play, but very few that I've anticipated as much as this one; cause of TT's history with the franchise, this is going to be good.

Just to address it so people do not accidentally get misinformed.
The Classic Characters does *NOT* mean obscure old Star Wars characters. The Classic Characters pack is referring to characters whose appearance as a Lego Minifigure has been changed since the original era of Lego Star Wars. So in other words, how they looked in the Complete Saga.
There is an official promo image advertising the Classic Characters Pack, which includes Lando Calrissian from Episode V, but it looks like a really updated version of how he looked in the Complete Saga. So just making sure we don't give people the wrong idea that the devil from Mos Eisely Cantina or something is gonna be DLC because I think it's quite clear that with 300 characters, the base roster will encompass the characters who appear in the films, and the DLC is mainly focused on the TV Series and Anthology Films.
Or maybe how they looked long before the Complete Saga... As in, the very first Lego Star Wars sets!
I have to agree with you on that since the Complete Saga had to base the looks of the Minifigures before 2005.
Lando looks as he did in the 2003 Cloud City set, so that's confirmation.
So it will probably be a bunch of characters who have had a design change since 2005. It could be Vader, Grievous, Yoda, and so on.

I love how he not once mentioned the switch and seems to be completely avoiding it
I know right! Really bugs me when people treat Nintendo like they aren't a real company. I mean yeah they are different to the point that it harms their image sometimes, and prevents big name titles from coming to their console, but that's on them.
I think most people including me will start in the Phantom Menace and go in order some there finishing on the Rise of Skywalker.
Ironic that the only Star Wars movie with Skywalker in it is the one that kills off all the Skywalkers

See I'm going to do what I've always done in Lego games: knock out the most tedious levels or challenges first and then you're free to play through everything you enjoy!
In this case I'll be playing my way through the entire sequel trilogy first before I play around with the TRUE Star Wars series. Say what you will about the prequels, but they created an amazing plethora of lore. Look at all the awesome characters that came out of the Clone Wars!
The sequel trilogy COULD have done that...but it didn't really. Maybe Lego can redeem it slightly! But the Mandalorian is the best thing to come out of Star Wars since Disney's acquisition.
@Dr. Facts This is fair! Have you ever read the "Heirs of the Force" series? It was about Han and Leia's 3 kids - Jacen, Jaina and Anakin. Jacen wound up becoming the new Sith Lord, Darth Caedus. They actually weren't half bad! Disney scrapped it all after their acquisition.

@@Sonic_superstars1 As standalone movies, maybe. But I found them increasingly disrespectful and contradictory to the source material. Force Awakens clearly built from what had been before. But Last Jedi undercut it massively. The Rise of Skywalker just...completely did its own thing.

I know they said for DLCs they will have the Mandalorian and Bad Batch characters but I hope they also include characters from Clone Wars and Rebels. I was a big fan of Rex and Ahsoka Tano, from both series, Ventress from Clone Wars as well as Sabine Wren and Zeb from Rebels

Whatever you think of the prequels or sequels, if you like ANYTHING to do with Star Wars, like I do, you're going to need to play this game when it comes out.
I’m 24 and the last time I played a LEGO Star Wars game was the first one when I was 11 or 12. This makes me want to get the game.
I wonder if they'll make DLC to play battles from Solo and Rogue One. Who wouldn't love to play as Vader in the epic Rogue One hallway scene?

I think they probably will have a level based on the Rogue One hallway scene in the Rogue One DLC pack. I saw a part in one of the trailers for this game that looked like that scene.

I loved the OG mumbles in LEGO games, but knowing that Sam Witwer voices the emperor like in force unleashed, he’s probably also voicing maul like in clone wars. Which is amazing imo

I'll be getting this game like i have all other LEGO games but something about the gameplay shown bothers me... It looks like TT are straying too far from how their LEGO games usually play, probably to stave off the critics complaining that all the games feel the same.
I've recently replayed through at least 8 of the games, either to get trophies i never got or to just replay them, so my feelings for the games are still fresh. I just wonder what they'll make after TSS...

Can someone tell me if Skywalker Saga will have an ability to play private matches. Because back in October 13th, 2020 there was a 30 second ad showing some new footage of the game and showing what looks like to be a lightsaber duel game mode. Any respond to me is welcome
They’re happy that droids can pilot vehicles. Imagine they made it so different characters have their own version of piloting vehicles

The force awakens game was good. They even had special combat for every single lightsaber user and if they did it there with a small scale there they will probs do it in one of the biggest games of this and the last decade
Edit to correct the video: The Character grid according to google of lego marvel superheroes two only has 191 characters while the Lego The Force Awakens game has over 230+

I think you got your sources weong. They're using new audio with VAs, using the audio from the movies always made everything feel iffy and TT knows that
With this game coming soon, I hope TT can do a remake of Lego The Lord of the Rings and Lego The Hobbit, combining all the 6 films together for one whole single game

Let's see. There will be 45 levels based on 9 films. So this means each film will have 5 levels each.

You should have included that you can accept multiple quests and access all your quests you have to do from your Galaxy Watch or.. yeah.. whatever its called.
One more thing, they announced on there Twitter at some point saying that it will run on 60FPS on Xbox Series X. They didn't announce it for the PS5, but I'm going to say thats a yes as well.

Isnt clone wars and rebels about different charaters not just anakin yes he was in tgem but they were focused on ashoka and erza spefically

Turns out the classic pack will include the older look of the mini figures for some of the existing characters

MOST COMPLEX LEGO GAME EVER. I hope they allow custom characters. Those are kind if a staple in modern lego games.

Mandalorian DLC is confirmed so that’s good, but no confirmed dlc for clone wars stuff apart from bad batch. Which if they don’t do at least season 7 of clone wars like 3 levels for the 3 arcs. And the characters, they’d be making an enormous mistake
