That looks like heaven! Old bottles and stoneware are my thing although I’ve yet to find any complete ones. I can’t get out often but I’ve heard of folks finding old Victorian dump sites. I wouldn’t know how to go about finding them or getting permissions etc. P.S the starfish made me laugh as it reminded me of one day on the beach with hubby and he bent over to look at a starfish and split his jeans all the way up the back 😂 I had to walk behind him with a coat to the car because his a*se was hanging out 🤣 I saw more starfish than I bargained for that Day!
That's hilarious Jayne, your poor husband, I bet you still laugh to this day about it.A lot of the time dumps are found on 'waste ground' and it can be near impossible to know who owns the land.
The Yorkshire Digger We do 😂 I don’t think I’ll ever let him live that down! Yes that’s what I thought. We’ve got a historical dump on parkland near my house and although I’ve heard of folks digging there in the past, I’d have thought they probably didn’t have permission as I’d doubt the council would grant it. Oh well, there’s always the beach 😊
So love watching you pick up these marvelous finds. I say to myself, "keep it, keep it" with each one...but I know you can't. I so like the little paste pots. What was in them?? Hello and greetings from the US, and from Minnesota!! Thanks for taking me along on your beach hunt !
Mary Pass hi Mary from Minnesota, the paste pots contained as the name suggests a 'paste' of 'meat' either beef or chicken or fish which was spread onto bread to make sandwiches and can still be purchased here in the UK to this day
Oh you are ABSOLUTLY KIDDING ME I have one of those Gordon's special dry London gin bottles and I thought it was SUPER old but now it isn't 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻🙁🙁🙁🙁☹️☹️☹️🙂 WAAAAAAAA
Impressed when you said beach clean. So much pollution. People need to care for our Earth. We are here for a reason, and not to destroy. Thanks mate🙏👍
Love the paste pot and large frosted jar. Hobbies are so much fun.

Which beach in Shetland is this? X
It is in Garelochead in Argyll and Bute just near Helensburgh
What!?! Do you do with all those bottles, I need to know. They can't possibly all be in your house can they?
I initially took everything I found home but have now thinned my collection down to embossed bottles, codd bottles and cream pots
Your jar with the shells on is a cockle jar similar to the ones sold in chip shops
Yes Donald, I see the company still makes various seafoods in the same jars. I thought it was older as it doesn't have a screw top.
Nice finds.
Thanks James

LOL, some of them date back to mid 1800's just depends on the shape and closure type i.e. screw top or cork top
The Yorkshire Digger thank you for telling me that I will get back to you weather it is a screw top or a cork top. 😀👍🏻😀
How disgusting all the garbage
That beach has been cleaned since that video was filmed.
