    It’s not that Philly needs LeBron or he need Philly, but the NBA needs a team that can really challenge Warriors from the Eastern Conf

      adam prince They’d have the tallest starting five Ben 6-10 Lebron 6-9 Embiid 7’1? Fill in the other two. Everyone would be like 6-7 and taller.

    LeBron going to Philly could allow LeBron to take a lot more rests during the regular season.

    • @soullessSiIence
      @soullessSiIence 6 лет назад +8

      And it would allow LeBron to give up on more records broken, so no. He should stay and break Kareem's points record. 3 rings, 3 finals MVPs and 4 season MVPs already is enough for legacy.

    • @shawnchia3611
      @shawnchia3611 6 лет назад +22

      Esteban Aguayo That's where u are wrong, if he decides to go to 76ers, he will be the primary go-to scorer and actually has a better chance of averaging 30+ / game and break Kareem's record. His dimes will take a hit but if he decides to go there, that means he accept that.

    • @AfroCrew2022
      @AfroCrew2022 6 лет назад +12

      Esteban Aguayo He would still get all the points he wants. Maybe easier too because he could be cutting off the ball straight to the rim. Less initial resistance. I don’t think Ben will ever be more than a 20 point regular season scorer. Look at Golden state, they have 3 20 point scorers. Klay was at 20 curry and Durant 25+

    • @AfroCrew2022
      @AfroCrew2022 6 лет назад +73

      sparkelo I never bought into the idea that he can’t play off the ball. He’d be a nightmare to handle if he was always cutting to the rim while off the ball. Less initial resistance and when the defense collapses he finds an open man. With the way he looks now I wouldn’t be surprised if he was 36 and still one of the most athletic guys in the NBA. He can still get his head near rim level now and run faster than most players in the league.

      Derrick Williams actually it might be your comprehension that is lacking. He was being sarcastic/facetious, implying that lineup was nothing more than a dream. Hence the exaggerated bench lineup he gave in response. Philly can't afford all that while keeping the roster intact.

    If u actually watch the Sixers, they rely on Redick, Beleneli and shooters. Simmons has no offense, he needs multiple shooters or else he can't do much damage

    • @serendipitousbliss6548
      @serendipitousbliss6548 6 лет назад +14

      Sure but if you give him shooters - he is a lethal weapon. He moves and passes like an elite guard - but has the wingspan and rebounding prowess of a center. Hes a freak of nature that gives you the best attributes of both players in 1 package. Even without being a shooter he got 16 - 10 - 8 in his rookie year.

    • @johnhardawayjr.4126
      @johnhardawayjr.4126 6 лет назад +1

      I was thinking the same thing, belenli's heatchecks did Miami in

    • @AfroCrew2022
      @AfroCrew2022 6 лет назад +1

      Serendipitous Bliss Lebron could have set up Embiid a lot better. Embiid could be unstoppable but for whatever reason they just couldn’t figure it out against the Celtics. Simmons being unable to get to the rim at crucial moments killed them.

    • @serendipitousbliss6548
      @serendipitousbliss6548 6 лет назад +4

      Yeah for sure - but he is a rookie. This is his first year. The fact it got to the point a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 5+ years and was being lead by two players who had less then 40 games between them at the start of the season made it to the point they were expected to make the conference finals speaks to how great they are. A rough playoff series is actually probably going to be good long terms for Ben developement. He might have relaxed if they went too far this year. Now he is going to be in the gym.

      Dk it's true, that's why the Sixers traded their draft pick for Fultz. The original plan was playing Fultz at the point and Simmons as a SF/PF position. The shoulder injury happened on Fultz changed that.

      samuel morrison the sixers dint initiate the trade, the celtics did. And obv the celtics got the better end of the deal. The best thing that the 76ers can get out of fultz now is make him a 6th man drose type of guy.

    LeBron doesn't owe anything to Cleveland anymore. He got them a ring, and he came back to his home town. The question that needs to be asked, is does LeBron want to win more rings and compete? But remember, LeBron is all about his brand.
    What's best for lebrons brand?
    What's the easiest way for him to win?
    How does he do both and keep his legacy strong?

    • @elPichirri
      @elPichirri 6 лет назад

      Chermika Byssainthe because LeBron a is a very high caliber all around player, adding him to a better team than Cleveland could very well turn in to championships, it’s true that in the future he won’t be able to carry a team, but as of now you can bet he’s the best player on the floor. It’s all about maximizing his chances of winning more rings.

    • @chermikabyssainthe4517

    • @elPichirri
      @elPichirri 6 лет назад

      Chermika Byssainthe i do agree it is annoying, but it’s a real possibility that he could leave to another team, and who knows it might be what gives him more rings(maybe) but ultimately that’s up to Lebron and the team he chooses.

    I hope people realized that not every superstar or star in the NBA can coincide together on the same team. For example, Lebron could not play on a team where there are more than one dominant ball handlers (76ers) Because Lebron needs the ball in his hands, even if he says he doesn't. Now that this league has become a shoot first mentality for Lebron to play off ball would mean he would have to become a pure jump shooter and Lebron isn't a pure shooter, he is a scorer. Many fans get those two things mixed up. The only way the Lebron to Phily thing would work is if he were to come out and say that he is playing off ball (Which I don't see happening, dude needs the ball in his hands) instead of being leader on the court. With Lebron I never see that happening. (From an unbiased Lebron fan)

    • @mazengwe28
      @mazengwe28 6 лет назад

      And Lebron wouldn't fit in too many system teams this late in his career either. Lebron does not mive off ball and he walks down the court and hovers a lot on defense. He would not run up and down the court and still pkay as many minutes as he does. The reason he played all 82 games with high minutes is because he spends a quarter of the game walking.

  • @joshrendon5603
    @joshrendon5603 6 лет назад +2

    When we discuss the future of Philadelphia why don’t we talk about Markelle fultz? He was the number 1 pick. Lebron James and Ben Simmons were both number one picks. Markelle has talent. He only played like 11 games this season. If he gets into his form there’s no telling how good the sizers could be

      Honestly, if people think the 76ers couldn't make it work, they aren't really thinking about it in depth. Ben Simmons and LeBron would of course start the game. But thereafter, they'll share plenty of minutes together, but you can basically have it where you have either LeBron or Simmons on the court at all times. LeBron would have no problem running the bench while Simmons sits. 48 straight minutes of Simmons and/or LeBron? That's a tough team, right there.

      I agree. Why not end your career like you started it. Chasing like KD has made the league weaker in my opinion. The OKC have been in a spiral and it's not all of WEstbrooks' fault. But championships are so important. But look at how MJ built it with his teams. This is why his career will never be tarnished like LBJ's. How come LBJ is not criticized like Westbrooks? LBJ is clearly one of the all time greats, so lets get on with what is happening now. The Cavs have a tough and well-coached Celtics opponent to play. With the five days off, it could work against them.

    LBJ said he is staying in Cleveland he is a 15 year vet he already said I have nothing else to prove. I can see the Cavs adding PG13 to a 1 year deal or getting Kawhi for a couple year deal but they need to get rid of TT n Hood n a few others
