What a lovely performance!! I feel like we lost the connection somewhere where we don't have these moments in the concerts as much anymore. I'm looking forward to more laserdisc concert content! This is a gem ✨
Agreed. Nowadays, concerts have over-the-top gimmicks and super high production costs. But I think with the theatrics there’s a loss of human connection. I think there’s something to be said about the simplicity of concerts from this period (and this concert in particular). No flashy LCD screens and intricate backdrops, no outlandish and revealing costumes that get changed with every number…not to mention the music back then was far superior to the stuff being put out by most artists today….. Instead, it’s just people on a stage doing what they do best and having the time of their lives while doing it. Their passion for their craft is infectious and as someone born in the 1990s, I wish I could have lived back then to see it. The simplicity of the 1980s is something I wish would come back and wipe away all the extremes of the 21st century.
@@MiMi_MoMo There is great music being 'put out' all the time, not just in the 1980s. And trust me that at the time they were fun (for me) but not "simple".
It is the tenth time I have seen this spectacular concert by the great Junko Yagami. I personally love the duo and the mood that was formed in the "operator" song.

初期の頃とこの時代それぞれ好みは分かれるでしょうけど、このライブの様にアメリカ進出は失敗でした。やはりガラではなかったと思います。現在のコンサートでは、この時代の曲は聴けない(歌わない)ので貴重ではあると思います。
