PEUGEOT 404 👉 "LA LIONA" 🔥👉 PICK UP 💪

In the 👉year 1960, the French Peugeot premiered the 404❗ worldwide, a model designed under the signature of Pininfarina 🎨🖌, with a quite modern and elegant aesthetic proposal for the time, and which, in the end, would become a benchmark for the brand worldwide.
In sedan, station, coupé, cabriolet and pickup bodies, it achieved resounding success 🔥, with a final production of more than 2.8 million units produced. The use as a "taxi", plus various competitive tests 🏆 only confirmed the quality of the model. One of the most popular bodies was the truck version 💪, "La Leona" ❗, 👉 the second with the highest sales after the sedan, with figures greater than 820,000 units.
The model intended for commercial use debuted in March 1967👈, with 1.5 and 1.6L gasoline engines, and 2.0L diesel, associated with a 4-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. The gasoline engines offered powers between 62 and 80 horsepower, while the 2.0L diesel, between 49 and 68 horsepower. It reached maximum speeds between 108 and 120 km/h🙌.
Chassis and suspension were modified to facilitate load tasks, with a wheelbase increased to 2,900 mm versus the original 2,650 of the 404 sedan. The length reached 4.58 meters, a figure similar to the family "station" version, and much higher than the 4.42 of the sedan. “La Leona” 👉was offered in various versions, including pickup✔, drop-side pickup✔, canvas pickup✔, cab chassis✔, metal van body✔, refrigerated van✔, and tipping pickup✔, among others. Its load capacity, depending on the version, varied between 800 and 1,000 kg.
The 404 Pickup was in production between 👉 1967 and 1988 👈, in plants in France and Argentina, while in CKD format, it did so in Chile and in plants in Kenya, Nigeria, Rhodesia -current Zimbabwe-, and South Africa. Indeed, in Chile, between 1974 and 1978. In France it came off the production line in 1979, when it was replaced by the 504 pickup. It arrived in Argentina in 1973 and was produced until 1981, while in Africa it was assembled until 1988.
