I love this company! I was told that Brambleberry has top notch supplies so I ordered from them. I had messed up my order and called to get it worked out. They didn’t answer (I didn’t expect them to and I didn’t expect to be called back until after the holiday/weekend), I was called back within the hour and I was helped with the whole process! When I get my supplies and start making some batches I’ll know how their oils and micas and fos work. Thanks Brambleberry 💜
The funny thing is the way you pronounce milk is the way we say it in Dutch. So each time you say milk it sounds like you're speaking Dutch lol. Working with milk is always tough but so worth it. I'll have to try this out, I love the look of it.
I've never heard anyone other than Anne Marie call it "Melk". Is it because of where she lives? It does she just pronounce it differently just because?
Not sure if she is from Canada but Canada is currently going through a vowel shift according to linguists so slowly but surely Canadian dialects are shifting vowels. Milk --> Melk and Dress-->drass etc
@@WesleyE93 I'm Canadian and I quit watching this video within 2 mins due to the "MELK MEEEELLLLK MELK" ...oof. If I never hear anyone else say it that way in my life, it'll be too many times

I wanted to keep this recipe so I plugged it into my gadget thingy I made. Her recipe CANNOT be these percentages. They are slightly off probably due to oversight and the fact she is doing such a good job with her company. This is correct: Coconut 25% Palm 25% Sunflower 20.1% Apricot 10.1% Mango 10.1% Shea 4.9% Castor 4.9% Excuse me for the correction. Hi Sheamber! We have the soap beveller on our website, but it's in the process of being discontinued. A similar effect can be achieved with our Clean Up Tool, here's the link: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/tools-and-accessories/utensils/clean-up-tool/V000815.html#q=clean%2Bup%2Btool&lang=default&start=1
I would love a beveler like the Bramble berry one as myself as the vegetable peeler and I don't work I end up having lopsided soap big bevelling on some sides and others very smooth. I would love it to come to Aussie Soap Supplies.
Thank you for this video! I'm going to try making this tomorrow as I have your divider and have been wondering what I can make with it! I'd love any other recommendations for videos I can watch using the divider and if it's not too much trouble, I'd love a link for where I can purchase the beveling tool, I've been wanting to purchase one.

I want to make exfoliant shower bars usuing bees wax shea and coca butter will i need to use a preservative ? If so wich one do you recomend Will one be needed if they are stored in the fridge ?
No you don't all those hard oils with whatever soft oils you use will mix with the lye and it will turn into soap. You add any exfoliant like poppy seads, oatmeal etc. Soap doesn't need a preservative.
Sree Jith, put the seeds in whole because grinding will cause them to form more of a paste instead of being evenly dispersed throughout the soap like poppyseeds.
I like your videos however mixing lye in a glass container is a recipe for disaster. I’m sure you are doing it for ease of videoing but for those who are new think this is ok cause You do it.
I like the recipe but I don’t like the beveller nor the beveled edges that were taken off significantly like that.. Edges are taken off way too much and it looks very weird like that and artificial for such natural soap. I don’t like beveled edges, total waste even if they would be used later (I mean I would say no choice if you take them off so much) and I don’t think they look nicer. When I make soap I want to use the full bar not a part of the bar. The bars look way nicer without the extremely wasteful beveled edges. There’re soapers who never bevel. Myself included!! Why? My customers and I love non-beveled edges. And there’re soap makers who use acrylic molds to get sharp edges for more sophisticated looking bars. I really dislike beveled soap. Extremely wasteful.
