Bullies are hilarious and incredibly smart. They know exactly what you want, it's just a matter of whether or not they agree. If you hurt their feelings they can and will pout for days sitting across the room with their back to you! They are different from any other dog breed I've ever had.
Excellent companion animals for sure. I had 6 dogs prior to my bully Hambone. All of them were awesome but Hambone loved his humans more than any other. So loving and easy to train. I am picking up my next bully puppy in one week! Spanky!!!! Can't wait.
We picked up our first English Bulldog just over a fortnight ago. Spoke to the breeder who's a friend of ours through showing our Mastiffs. He's bred them and shown those too and also judges both breeds. He said they've similar characteristics and will live happily together with their laid back approach to life. We love her to bits.
I've got a 3 month old english bull dog, best dog I've owned hands down. They are full of love. If you don't mind abit extra maintenance to keep them clean and healthy your on to a winner. What you get in return is well worth it.
Great video. I'm thinking of getting a bulldog for companionship as I'm a retired, single person. Since I'm retired I have lots of time on my hands to socialize with a dog, even if they have unusual health concerns.
@@sailguy0321 I've watched a lot of bulldog videos and I don't think I've ever belly-laughed so hard in my life. My personal favorite is when a bulldog named Fred sings opera along with Luciano Pavarotti. Nothing puts a smile on my face more than these adorable, loving beings.
I really want an English bulldog for emotional support (moving to another state alone).I'll be working from 8-5pm and planning to put the dog in doggy daycare. Can I still get one even with a busy schedule?
Thanks for watching, we have a couple of videos the might be helpful to watch. First one if the top guard dogs for full time workers: ruclips.net/video/tkpyuPizz6M/видео.html&pbjreload=101, second is the top 10 therapy dogs: ruclips.net/video/XgSip8gVdLc/видео.html
I have a 14 month old and a 12 month old English bulldog and they have a ton of energy. I was just curious as to what age will they start to calm down?
i have a english bulldog he is now 6 1/2 years old and is not what is described as the normal bulldog. he was socialised as a puppy at puppy classes and on walks. he lived with my 2 french mastiffs my partner and 3 older children. at about 7~8 months old he decided he no longer liked my mastiffs and started attacking them he then decided he no longer liked the kids and would only tolerate my partner but he loves me with a passion. this caused the a lot of trouble in the household so its now just me and him living together after splitting with my partner due to his behavior. he now generally doesnt like anybody but me but has fallen in love with my new partner but she has kids and dogs. we are trying our hardest to try and get him to be friendly with the kids and dogs but he is just not interested and just gets aggressive as much as we try. is there a way of getting through to him ? as we would love him to be part of the family so we can all live together. i love him dearly and would never let him go but i would love to know how to sort his problems out for us and him. i have tried a few dog behaviorits who just have no intention of wanting to help and just say they cant help but there must be sombody that can help me and him with his issues. he is such a nice dog with me he must be able to love others and other dogs the way he does me and my new partner. please if you can help @Fenrir English Bulldog Show
So, I just put a down payment on an English Bulldog. I work a forty hour week. Will this cause him separation anxiety? I have an other dog and two cats.
@@jackmccracken7609 getting much better thank you now he is still naughty in his adolescence cannot wait to get over that period. He tried to bite my oof ankle for the first time in ages but i said no firmly and he did stop. Maybe hot weather is stressing him it’s 30c
English Bulldogs are the Best and most lovable dogs on the planet, bar none. But they don’t make good guard dogs because everyone knows they’re pushovers. they’re mushy, sweet and never meet a stranger (!) they don’t love. They’ll offer to help the intruder carry out the sofa, but they’d never bite him. They might lick him to death, but they’d never harm or bite him.
I have always liked them, but I never obtained one because they are so messed up, and so deformed a dog. The Kennel Club may soon be forced to ban them from shows.

How are micro mini pocket Bullies for companion dogs & overall pets?
The fact that they are termed that way should be reason enough to steer well clear of such a monstrosity of dog breeding.
Reason 1 ❤️
So, I just put a down payment on an English Bulldog. I work a forty hour week. Will this cause him separation anxiety? I have an other dog and two cats.
