Hi again Joe... Watched this video you made a year ago just now. I'm not sure you have adjusted what you discussed here over the year? I just want to share what I have been trained to do by a top pro thrower. You do not want to throw that close to the wall. The correct land is 10 inches to 1 ft from the wall. Setting a hard way on any bouncy table is a bad idea as it will continue to throw sevens more often regardless of your form. You can use the hard way set on a firm table however if the table is bouncy the best thing to do is do a 7 set with the 4/3 and turn the dice to a 45 degree angle. Do a swing back release and make sure that you keep the throw very low due to the bounce. Make sure that your lead dice is higher than your trailing dice as the trailing dice should land and hit first. The 45 degree allows the dice to be off axis which is why you will not hit the seven.
I have a layer of felt, vinyl, and the microfiber table layout. You watch in this video how I apply each layer. ruclips.net/video/gh85myV3Gb4/видео.htmlsi=OYwefT7ImZvmuoAC
Hi Love the video and information. Do you have information how you built the throwing height rig? And how far do you place it from the back wall and how high u adjust the string
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully this will help. ruclips.net/video/pWneNWMFdbg/видео.html ruclips.net/video/-PNLe98SHiU/видео.html Feel feel to ask questions if any thing else comes to mind.
Great video. I've really struggled with my local casino closest to me. At home I toss well. In Vegas I had great sessions consistently over the last several trips. But here at home, at the closest local, it's really zapped my confidence. So I've been passing more often but I'm tired of passing. I've started to pay attention and notice the sound of the dice there vs at home. I'm thinking the table is soft and bouncy. Next trip is probably this weekend. I'm going to try tossing the dice with more arc and closer to the back wall. See if that helps. Gotta figure something out. I'm confident in my DI strides especially with my Vegas trips but this local and really kicking my behind! If you have anything you can share on thoughts let me know but I'm thinking closer to the wall might do the trick. And I'm probably do it with a pass line and minimum place bets on the 6/8.
I am thinking the same. An idea might be practicing at home with an extra layer of felt or vinyl. Try to replicate the sound and feel of the table giving you so much trouble. That way you can experiment with height and landing zones. Just a thought.
@@CrapsMasterJourney I'm going to try that. I can practice and practice all day long at home and get the mechanics I think I want to try down. Results end up in the teens or at least better than the average. But need to get out to the casino to see if the adjustments make a difference. Get back to more longer rolls instead of shorties. My practice table back wall comes off so extra felt can go under and I can clamp it down further down the table to keep it taut. We'll see how that works. I'm a competitive guy (ex wrestler myself) and I can't let these dice get me!
My advice is to find a landing area that allows your dice to stay closely cropped together after contact with the backwall. I never have problems with bounce minimization, because 95% of my rollouts stay close to backwall. Aim for a landing/Sweet SPOT? Nah….. not for me, with the Toss that I use. I simply toss by “ feel”, & not by sight. If you can toss effectively without looking at a Spot, or looking at the backwall, your muscle memory will be permanently ingrained! Continued success! 🎲🎲Married!
I think everyone uses different ways to accomplish the same goals. If it works for you, then continue to use it. If something else works, then use that. @@CrapsMasterJourney Absolutely… we are on the SAME page/journey! I CAN be a bit harsh/judgmental at times, but I mean no harm. It’s simply that I’ve been down this Dice Influencing/Controlled Shooting journey for MANY years, & one thing that I can tell you is for certain….. just when we think that we just might have it all figured out…. WE DON’T!! 😝 I can PSO, & stink up a table in a heartbeat, & this is why I claim absolutely NOTHING ( in Terms of being a Dice Influencer), but only the ability to minimize bounce & rollout with the POSSIBILITY of MAYBE tossing a few Repeaters, & primary hits!! NOTHING ELSE!!! Stay the course! I enjoy your content, & discovered your channel by accident. Continued success! PS: Most channels disdain me because I don’t/won’t Sugarcoat things! Reading this response brought a chuckle. I couldn't agree more. And yes, I have visited your channel many times in the past. Appreciate your honesty. BTW, good luck on your future trip. Heard about it from a mutual friend.
Thanks for the video Joe.
Your most welcome Chris. Appreciate the support.
Great advice!.. Also try to land no more than 6 inches apart.. muscle memory like an all star relief pitcher ✨
Thank you
Great advice because if they smack each other in their journey it is usually a bad experience for me
@myrontaylor1150 it is for most. Usually the bad number shows

Nice video and good information. Can you tell me what underlying material you use on your table? Thanks in advance

@@azcrapsshooters5432 lol. Sounds like a plan. Let me know how it works for you my friend.
Dice throwing theories are viable on live tables, but literally out the window when tossing dice on slick, hard, E table tops.
I never thrown dice on that style of table, so that may be the case. Good assignment for the future maybe.
