I have 0 interest in the Halo show, but this set looks great. Probably won’t pick it up because I only want to collect stuff I’m familiar with but Mega did a great job on this!
I honestly would recommend you give it a try. You really can just drop this in with your Halo Infinite stuff and boom, you just have another Infinite Marine variant
probably gonna get a couple just for the marine and the battle rifle, mongoose is bit eh…
Give the 'Goose a chance. I wasn't too sure about it at first, but it's not bad
Absolutely great set in my book. Fortunately I did not have as many qc issues with my figure as yours did. Luck of the draw I suppose

i wish we had 2 figures in this one but its ok. i think the marine is cool im gonna add him to my collection, but still slightly too simple. like he needs some leg pouches i think, hes just underwhelming to me.
i think this set could have been better but im not mad ill grab it.
its still better than lego's "one figure" sets theyre like $20 LOL
but the other new sets are fire

A leg strap would add a lot, though I dunno if they needed to add one since they're so easy to get. Having an extra marine in the set would have been neat though
The only think I dont like about this set is the color of the moongose, is like army plastic men green, I think the first infinite unsc vehicules have a very elegant green I would like to see that green here too.
I personally think this green is superior. Yes it's more clean but the metallic often looks weird
found these for $5 at kroger so i picked up a couple since i only had the old halo wars mongoose. slapped a black 1x2 on the flimsy seat and i’m happy with this set

I might get it for the marine i do like the mongoose but i feel the front is a little to big if i got it i would just remove the railing

I might be a minority here but, I think the infinite mongoose's suspension is cool and all, but I also don't LOVE it and I don't mind it not always being used. IMO it seems like it makes the mongeese look flimsier since they wobble around, and they look very skinny since they need room to tilt. I would personally prefer styles like with this mongoose and the ONI one where they're able to give the mongoose more weight to it and make it look sturdier with more shape
I have heard people say that before. It's a bit of a trade off--the suspension is a ton of fun but yeah it does make it a less substantial build
funny they went with the most toyish look for the most photorealistic iteration of the mongoose

The 'Hog does include Jimmy Ring's head, but luckily the rest of his armor stays on

Annnd they released another type of green T_T come on it's the 4th one we can't collect that much. Old vehicules won't get along with this new green.
To me this one looks more toyish just like Legos. I'm worried because since the Infinite line we are seeing less and less marble/camo bricks and more flat colors bricks like LEGOs.. They already changed the silver color to something much less realistic.
Otherwise I kind of like the new design.
This green has been around since they made the new H3 marines
You mean bricks in a set ? Cuz yea they've been use for body armor you're right but I didn't saw bricks with this green before 🤷♂@@DemarcationMedia

I love how Mega kept the marine accurate to the show- and what I mean by that is it looks like it came straight from Starship Troopers

I don't often agree with the Halo fandom's opinions as a whole, but I gotta say, that is one I fully agree with: nobody asked for 'Master Cheeks', nobody wants him. XD
Eh I’m tired of the mongoose in general
I mean, I get that. Mega does a lot of 'Hogs and 'Geese, but I dunno that they'll ever stop doing that since both are so iconic
Is that a new BR mould? It doesn't look as skinny, and the underbarrel has a bar so it can actually be grabbed by the minifig's hands. I think the only gripe with the mongoose is that it seems a stud too long. When the figure is driving it, there's a lot of real estate between its back and the back rest
It's the updated BR mold that came out recently, which now has a very slightly thicker barrel that allows you to attach a muzzle flare to the end of it. Every BR using the classic BR design has had that hand hold bar underneath it, though.
I haven't tested it myself but I think it's the new one. Gotta find my muzzle flares to test it

The Mongoose isn’t great, but I think the Marine’s cool, and the new BR piece alone is worth buying this for me.
The mongoose is surprisingly good when you have it in-hand
Mega should try to get the license to make Gears of War sets..... would also be awesome if they made Warhammer 40000 sets... with Megas mini figure style both those IPs sets would be incredible
I think Gears would fit perfectly with Mega's style

The banshee and the warthog - and all of the figures- don't look too bad but this mongoose just looks... off to me.
Maybe it's a personal preference on my part, but I can't shake the feeling.
It is VERY different from previous 'Geese. I think it's a neat design, but yes, it's a bit jarring

Universe S2 is a really good series!
I am happy because I made my first custom and it is a blue mk 5b with a infinate cheif front chest plate and the paint doesn't cover the primer fully and it gives a great weathered look on the edges

@@Noble6_6 Some of them are a bit bowlegged but it sounds like yours are kinda warped. Heat up the lower legs with a hairdryer and bend them slightly straighter

I mean, I won't fault you for that. There's a lot of objective reasons it was poorly made, and Chief's character is...butchered, basically. But if you like it, that's great
This is such a fun little set. My only complaints about it are the Marine having a trash weapon and I think there should have been a second figure included for the price like a Grunt or maybe another Elite

Since you pointed out the problem with the shoulder, i have a few figs that are like that as well and wondered if there is a way to fix them
Which part of the issue? There's a way to fix both problems
@@DemarcationMedia kind of the same as the marine you just got with the arm and shoulder joint separating
Just heat up the torso without the arm in it til the torso is a little soft, then jam the arm in and hold it while it cools
