You can also find this staff in a chest in the dragonsbreath tower in the regular game. There are no exclusive weapons in the unmoored world.

I found the Promethean Hood (Sorcerer) in a Chest after fighting a Fell-Lord. You can find it on the cliff next to where you find the Enshadowed Garb ( 1:48 ). Gotta travel there from above though
Those complaining about how he made the list and how they have no ferrystones to go back and forth. You just have to defeat bosses and mini bosses, the drop rates for ferrystones are increased, and other chests on the seafloor paths have bunch of ferrystones plus the merchants around the world with at least 1 or 2 ferrystones
Khraze no offense but I think this video would be better if you put all the items together in the same area, instead of per set because now im going everywhere back and forth back and forth to collect everyhting.
these are cool for the end game that is timed and once you go to ng+ enemies dont scale so meaning your too op 1 shotting enemies.... i guess theyll add it as dlc or something? i hope we can have an abyss area that is dark and we can just fight harder and harder enemies as we go down.
You can also get the Hyberboreal Lorica(Archer armor) in Melve by killing the dragon. The dragons is in the dry lake just ahead of the small wharfs, just keep heading straight from behind the inn and he should be there.
I want to add that there is a sorcerer helmet called Promethean Hood I found in the unmoored world. Where you fight the chimera for the theif chest piece if you look up its a high cliff, but if you go around and go to that spot from the other side of the river you'll come across a fell-lord skeleton guarding a chest. Destroy it and inside will be your new hood.
It should be mentioned that the body gears in this video are all purchasable from vendors. However the head and leg gear is unmoored exclusive and you can’t get it in NG+ until you start the unmoored world again.
You can see the mini map in the lower left corner, and it shouldn't be too hard to figure out where it is based on the footage he shows on how to get to that spot
The map is at 5:30. The dragon is in the "brown" former water area slightly south-east from it. Like if you look south once you exit the cave, you should see the only dragon spawn in there.

The Tomb isn’t too far away from Bakbattahl it’s off in the main road you take to fight Medusa but it’s still in the desert area. Just look up Tom of Ja Nuwa you should find it. You can do this in either regular mode or the true ending mode. Also a little disappointed this RUclipsr didn’t even mention it! It’s one of the best looking head pieces in the game and he didn’t even mention it…… I think if you’re going to showcase great outfits and say where you got them you should do it for the entire outfit because that headpiece is also a rare find and you can’t buy it from any vendor. He definitely should’ve mentioned it.

Everyone is saying this stuff is being sold by merchants like yeah no duh but I’d rather spend 10 minutes running around getting it for free than spend resources to get it. Besides if you don’t like exploring for loot why even play an open world game?
Not spending anything when everyone is exploiting the system and duplicating.thats just the game function that is just available. So if you'd like to play solo good luck with that.

Yeah but id rather run around bhatal looting enemies for around 650 coins each than sit in a town and grind hours with the same NPC. Besides once you beat the game once the need for anything drops DRASTICALLY. Got everything I need from running around my first play through and now I’m just running around playing god and collecting other stuff.

Put 12x Jasper for your pawn quest reward and make the mission to hando over a tarr or explosive arrow. After you do that....nevermind I don't think you care to hear the rest since you're already god mode in the game.

Pawns with the forager(?) specialization will mark your map with materials and when you click on them, will tell you what's there. So if you click on one that says dragon scales, then dragon is there. I also googled gorechimera the other day and found a reddit post or something with people pointing out where they found them.
Found half of these myself just by sticking to waterbeds since it's obvious that's where they hid endgame items. Worth noting that a lot of the upgrade materials come from killing these bosses so there's a duality of getting items while farming their upgrade components. That said, I hated my time in the unmoored because the color palette was so drab. Playing NG+ now and so good to be back lol.
highly agree with this, i spent so much time in the game loving it and now im in the UW and trying to get these last few pieces has been so drab and unmotivational i cant wait to start ng+ lol but i wish there was gonna be more damage scaling

Also protip is if you evacuate the towns fast enough, you can use the forger to dupe any upgrades you need for gold. I found this to be genius since gold does have a dump at endgame so you can push your gear to max before leaving. The devs for this are next level genius.

Dominator armor can be bought with gold in NG+...thats where i bought mine lol. Vernworth armor vendor sold it to me. Alot of other armor pieces you mentioned was also available for purchase via the vendors, maybe if you found the item already, it would show up in the vendors in NG+. I have no clue, im watching the video while playing and see the some of the items in vendor.

I found a nice sorcerer chest piece called Edified Vestment that I haven’t seen anyone show which is a very dark purple and black but look manly unlike a lot of the other sorcerers armor lol sorry idek where I picked it up from though
It depends on the item. For example the rogue chest gear from the drop / Gautstafr is better at Defense than the one sold by Dragonforged, but dragonforged has slightly better Magic defense. For Warrior, the whole set seems better than the one from the Dragonforged. For the Ranger dragonforged is slightly better. TBH it looks like they're really close and should prioritize aesthetics.
Unmoored is mainly for Wyrm Crystals lol you want to do unmoored. Left unmoored with like 700 crystals. (Before buying some stuffs from the DragonForge vendor.
I’ve been seeing that if you evacuate all the major cities and leave the sea floor beacon you stop the timer. Have you been able to confirm this at all?
It does stop the time, but you only have 10 days, after that you can't just rest anymore, so pretty much it's a survival mode, you can heal your pawns just hiring new ones, and you can only heal yourself, by dying and using a heart stone, or using an elixir, other than that, you can't do anything
I was wondering do u have to destroy all the bosses to end the game or u just kill them all to have more days to explore? Cuz I evacuated everyone already and I have plenty of time left?
To halt the fog you just gotta kill the 4 red tornado bosses, I heard murmurs about only getting a limited amount of rests in the unmoored world, I think it was 12 or something, but I don’t know if that’s true
Not 100% sure. But it seems that chests in ng+ are randomized. Got the sarian cloak in a random cave. When I know for sure the first time I got it was by the later sunken castle entrance. Used it for my pawn for like 30 levels.
@@oldmangamer7161 I remember as well as the cave in Harve there was a chest somewhere along the river east of the checkpoint rest town and somewhere near the elven village. I would be surprised if anyone can be thorough enough to find every chest, im on 3rd playthrough still finding them lol.
So I’m looking for the best overall armor set and bow for archer. Is the best stuff at dragon forge? Is it found here in the red world? Or will they just show up in new game plus in vendors?
The only thing that won’t show up is the archer helm in this video. Everything else you’ll be able to buy from vendors or from the dragonforged but it’s expensive 😅 I also recommend upgrading your gear before starting new game plus. It’ll be a lot easier because the unmoored world has so much fast travel and all the smiths are in the same location.
So getting the best gear at end of the game , is a lot like cyberpunk, when you get to end game with the best Cyberware, What is the point, your at end game but there is No more game to play. In New Game Plus , can I keep this end game gear and use it, I hope so ,or again What is the point trying to find it.
Yes, if you interact with the beam of light near the seafloor shrine, it'll force a cutscene with a dragon encounter and effectively end the game. Then you can start another normal playthrough. I'd recommend staying in the unmoored world as long as possible and gather as much gear/wyrmslife crystals as you can though.
@@laughingman212 You can get all this stuff in ng+ from the dragon forged plus boons and the like. Only the armor pieces you can find in the chests in the unmoored world are exclusive to the unmoored world.
@@laughingman212 I didn't but I was also playing thief. I went with 65 crystals and got a full thief set, full archer for my pawn, full mystic spearhand, dragon's dogma sword for the achievement, daggers, bow, and the spear. There's also dragons in the world to run into. I cleared the bosses first and then slept so I had all the time in world. You can dismiss pawns if you need a refresh and I wasted wake stones on myself so I don't bother resting. There's plenty of ferry stones to find and that can be dropped. There is no water to care about.
I am seriously disappointed with DD2's hidden chest's gear. In DD1, if you found Gear in a hidden chest, they were Unique, you could not buy them, At All, and if you wanted the best/coolest gear, you had to bloody earn it! Seeing that majority of these END GAME CHESTS contain sh*t you can just buy is so disheartening, they should've removed the items from the store and Only have them in these hidden chests, cause otherwise, anyone who has beaten the true ending can get them simply from handing over some easily farmed gold...
Well, i end up sering at the game when i did all side quests. There noting to do only kiling monsters. Dont wona go End game cuz its like time limit and totali finishing the game. Need more side quests to be added for sure. 63-65 are not enouht. Good games have like 150-200.

At the Vernworth Beacon location if you go just past the boss arena there you can find the trickster helmet in a chest. It dead ends there.

try using fire damage so he wont fly away, that usually worked

Fighter and warrior both get proper endgame armour sets and mystic spearhand only get one chestpiece that you can buy at a vendor.. seems fair..

Question: When going to new game plus will the portcrystals that i’ve placed in the world be there? Or do i have to pick them up before new game plus-ing or else they’ll disappear?

I found a nice sorcerer chest piece called Edified Vestment that I haven’t seen anyone show which is a very dark purple and black but look manly unlike a lot of the other sorcerers armor lol sorry idek where I picked it up from though

if u do the main mission when starting true endgame can you stay unlimited time in the unmoored world? and just rest unlimited etc?
Apparently, once u beat all of the special world bosses you just stay there forever.
You get 12 rests but can stay as long as you want
And if you die you lose all progress made and restart at before final boss fight and have to redo everything. It's kinda like a hard mode

@@jimmys443no I just had to go to ng+ the game wouldn't let me rest anymore and I cleared all the bosses I didn't keep track of how many rests though
I wanna see actual comparisons between this and the dragonforged gear because from what I've seen none of it is really any better
It depends on the item. For example the rogue chest gear from the drop / Gautstafr is better at Defense than the one sold by Dragonforged, but dragonforged has slightly better Magic defense. For Warrior, the whole set seems better than the one from the Dragonforged. For the Ranger dragonforged is slightly better. TBH it looks like they're really close and should prioritize aesthetics.

In the endgame, its less about money, more about wyrmslife crystals.
I’m on my second play-through in NG+ and seen a lot of these armors in it. I haven’t touched the Unmoored World.
Once you go to new game plus you can buy at stores all the available armor in the game
Unmoored is mainly for Wyrm Crystals lol you want to do unmoored. Left unmoored with like 700 crystals. (Before buying some stuffs from the DragonForge vendor.
I think you can buy all that gear though minus the ranger's head piece unless it's a different version of the same piece with some state variation?
Once you do find the amour sets and complete the game, and start a new game plus all the amours will be available at any black Smith.

I’ve been seeing that if you evacuate all the major cities and leave the sea floor beacon you stop the timer. Have you been able to confirm this at all?
It does stop the time, but you only have 10 days, after that you can't just rest anymore, so pretty much it's a survival mode, you can heal your pawns just hiring new ones, and you can only heal yourself, by dying and using a heart stone, or using an elixir, other than that, you can't do anything
switching vocations also heal you to full health.

You compared the armors yourself they are not the best in the game they are at best sidegrades to the Dragonforged merchant stuff.

To halt the fog you just gotta kill the 4 red tornado bosses, I heard murmurs about only getting a limited amount of rests in the unmoored world, I think it was 12 or something, but I don’t know if that’s true

Not 100% sure. But it seems that chests in ng+ are randomized. Got the sarian cloak in a random cave. When I know for sure the first time I got it was by the later sunken castle entrance. Used it for my pawn for like 30 levels.
I found the saurian cloak in several places on my first playthrough.

@@oldmangamer7161 I remember as well as the cave in Harve there was a chest somewhere along the river east of the checkpoint rest town and somewhere near the elven village. I would be surprised if anyone can be thorough enough to find every chest, im on 3rd playthrough still finding them lol.
So I’m looking for the best overall armor set and bow for archer. Is the best stuff at dragon forge? Is it found here in the red world? Or will they just show up in new game plus in vendors?
The only thing that won’t show up is the archer helm in this video. Everything else you’ll be able to buy from vendors or from the dragonforged but it’s expensive 😅 I also recommend upgrading your gear before starting new game plus. It’ll be a lot easier because the unmoored world has so much fast travel and all the smiths are in the same location.
So getting the best gear at end of the game , is a lot like cyberpunk, when you get to end game with the best Cyberware, What is the point, your at end game but there is No more game to play.
In New Game Plus , can I keep this end game gear and use it, I hope so ,or again What is the point trying to find it.

Can someone confirm to me, is there coming back from the unmoored world?
Yes, if you interact with the beam of light near the seafloor shrine, it'll force a cutscene with a dragon encounter and effectively end the game. Then you can start another normal playthrough. I'd recommend staying in the unmoored world as long as possible and gather as much gear/wyrmslife crystals as you can though.
The sorcerer gear looks nice but it’s trash compared to the Orphic Robe. Maybe cause mines is maxed.
So confusing do you get access to that awesome end game dragon armor in New game+ or only in the unmoored world?
The unmoored world has all the end game weapons from the shops and dragon forge

@@laughingman212 You can get all this stuff in ng+ from the dragon forged plus boons and the like. Only the armor pieces you can find in the chests in the unmoored world are exclusive to the unmoored world.
@@laughingman212 I didn't but I was also playing thief. I went with 65 crystals and got a full thief set, full archer for my pawn, full mystic spearhand, dragon's dogma sword for the achievement, daggers, bow, and the spear. There's also dragons in the world to run into. I cleared the bosses first and then slept so I had all the time in world. You can dismiss pawns if you need a refresh and I wasted wake stones on myself so I don't bother resting. There's plenty of ferry stones to find and that can be dropped. There is no water to care about.

I am seriously disappointed with DD2's hidden chest's gear.
In DD1, if you found Gear in a hidden chest, they were Unique, you could not buy them, At All, and if you wanted the best/coolest gear, you had to bloody earn it!
Seeing that majority of these END GAME CHESTS contain sh*t you can just buy is so disheartening, they should've removed the items from the store and Only have them in these hidden chests, cause otherwise, anyone who has beaten the true ending can get them simply from handing over some easily farmed gold...

Well, i end up sering at the game when i did all side quests. There noting to do only kiling monsters. Dont wona go End game cuz its like time limit and totali finishing the game. Need more side quests to be added for sure. 63-65 are not enouht. Good games have like 150-200.

So what we have in dd2. Short side quest like 60-66+ main story quest in this number. And Seeker token to find, bugs on the tree. And thats it :)

Some of these are just straight up not the best gear. some are unique but some of them are literally shop gear.
