    I think what you’re doing is amazing. I am happy that you are doing this work using Tigrinya, hopefully those who speak Bilen and Tigrayit and other Eritrean languages can see connections. The Nara are cousins with the Nuba in Egypt and Sudan. The Tigrayit speakers are our brothers so even the interpretation of the same words in Tigrayit/Tigre is needed.
    Like you when I see the ancient Egyptians I feel as though Eritrea Sudan and Egypt have a lot of deeper connections. Can’t wait for more of your work.

      My ancient Egyptian ancestors were very clear in the distinction between the Egyptian race and the Negro African race south of the Sahara, and they made it clear in their drawings and engravings, and the Negroes were always depicted in degrading situations. For example, there were drawings on the shoes of King Tutankhamun, where there is a captive Negro with his hands tied. It seems that the ancient Egyptians were looking forward to the future and knew that the descendants of these prisoners would come and falsely claim that they were the owners of that civilization.My ancient Egyptian ancestors were very clear in the distinction between the Egyptian race and the Negro African race south of the Sahara, and they made it clear in their drawings and engravings, and the Negroes were always depicted in degrading situations. Eritrea🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷 is yet an undiscovered treasure trove of ancient knowledge and wisdom. I have always felt it!!
    The ancient Egyptians knew it as the land of the Gods where their Gold, frankincense & mere come from. You would only know something to such a reverence if you are one and the same. Now that Eritrea 🇪🇷 is a totally independent country owned by its people it has the opportunity to channel resources into uncovering it's civilisation past that present both under and above ground and sea.
    Afterall true knowledge and understanding of the past is only uncovered as it had already existed before. The ancestors would only reveal their wisdom and truth to their offsprings in it's fuller essence as they say those who feel it know it. It's in the feeling, then knowing that you're able to go into the deeper realm of understanding.
    Keep digging the world would only benefit from better understanding. Blessings ✌👏🇪🇷

    • @fruitsarelife7073

      How can it be owned by the people when you can’t voice political opinion inside Eritrea apart for pure obidience and support. Eritrea hasnt been the peoples Land since colonial times. It’s dying. We already left.

    • @jobloggs7275
      @jobloggs7275 2 месяца назад +2

      @@fruitsarelife7073 That's a classic narrative of a brainwashed mindset. Eritrea does not follow western model of democracy whereby the resources are owned by the 2% and most if not all political parties are indirectly owned by vested interests who own the public and private media too. In Eritrea democracy is not new we have been practicing it organically for millennia. You only have to look at the customary laws of "hegi endaba" to appreciate the sophistication of the society within. Eritrea had always been a nation that practiced fairness, social justice and equity in how rights and responsibilities are implemented. Take education and healthcare for example; in Eritrea these services are free including university education. The government tries it's best with limited resources to improve the lives of remote villagers and regions and bring their life chances upto par with developed urban towns/cities. Democracy or popular participation in the political process of the country should always be an 'organic' process rather than be imported from the west if it's to avoing being the tool for globalist 2%. You only have to look at the rest of Africa to understand what I mean. The masses are only onlookers whilst their resources is taken for peanuts, offcourse the corrupt politicians benefit in this scheme of things. The people are always disempowered and desperate for donations and the NGO'S love this as these is the grand scheme of things. Also, you meantioned migration, migration from a country that had been at war for decades and been sanctioned for not playing ball is only normal as people try to survive or have better lives as individuals. By the way most migration is taking place from the so-called democracies of the world like our neighbours Ethiopia who are said to be free to voice their opinions but can not yet feed themselves. Therefore as the popular saying goes the dogs bark but the camel will keep on moving towards it destination of greatness and prosperity - despite of all odds (that's the essence of Eritrea that is not understood by many). Peace✌🇪🇷

    Eritrea and Ethiopia were originally populated as a consequence of the desertification of the Sahara region some time around the 8th millenium BC. The Afroasiatic linguistic unit split into its current branches during this period. That is the extent of our connection to ancient Egypt. However, it's true that pre-Aksuman polities had cultural and political relations with the ancient Nile Valley civilizations of Egypt and Sudan in our early history. Punt, the remote country which the Egyptians at times regarded as the mytholigical origin of their gods, has been connected by scholars to the cultures of Eritrea, northern Ethiopia, and south-eastern Sudan, especially with the culture of the Gas delta, which scholars have argued was a central component within a complex interregional exchange network that linked communities from the Egyptian and Nubian Nile Valley areas and the northern Horn of Africa. The historical name of central Eritrea, Hamasen or Amasen, has also been suggested to correspond to "Amasu", a province of Punt registered in the Egyptian "Lists of Foreign People" of King Thutmose III circa 1458/25 BC. More interestingly, a stone sphinx, alongside the stone statue of a sitting woman, has been discovered in the small site of Addi Kramaten in Akkälä Guzay, Eritrea, likely associated with a shrine during the pre-Aksuman period. The sphinx represent a crouching male lion with a human head in a possible Egyptian and Meroitic style that may be attributed to a indigenous god. Pre-Aksuman sculptures can be related to Egyptian/Meroitic prototypes. The fact that our pre-Aksuman ancestors had contacts with the Nubian kingdom of Kush is evident from the few Nubian objects of Napatan/Meroitic origin that have been discovered in Yeha, Mätära, and Hawelti, including a Cippus of Horus and a statue of the god Nefertem. This is the extent of our relation to the Nile Valley civilizations. This peaceful commercial relation changed as a result of Aksum's westward expansion and the collapse of the Meroitic empire in the mid-4th century as a result of the displacement of Roman trade to the rising Aksuman empire, ecological catastrophe caused by extensive deforestation, and the increasing immigration of Nubians from the west.

      What are jabbering? Why you say "pre- Axuman" That did not exist either. Yes PWNT (Punt Land) was in Northwest and Southwest Ethiopia of Blue Nile and Tekeze - Atbara basin. Punt was succeeded by Da'mat Kingdom in Ethiopia. After Da'mat came then the Axumite Empire whic has lasted to rise of Islam in the Arabian peninsula in the 7th century AD. Axumite Empire was invaded by Beja savage Nomads from the present Sudan. The decline of the Axumite Empire enabled for the Tigrigna speaking Beja servant class to settle in Ethiopian highlands in the environs of Axum.
