    I made one of these swags about 4 days ago and I did not like how it stands up on the top. So I took the swag to my counter top and bent it over the edge so it would look like it was real evergreens laying on top. It really looks natural and I love the look. Just a hint if anyone want a more natural look. Thank you my dear.

      Bonnie, yes I think you have to work that greenery to make it lay over the top for a more natural look.

    This swag looks like it should be on a door! It hides the lantern so what's the point.

    • @KatsCreationsNMore
      @KatsCreationsNMore  2 года назад

      Luellen, you can certainly use it on the door, but it is a nice touch depending on how to use the lantern.

      I agree, you can't even see the lantern. I don't know why she put anything inside the lantern because you can't see any of it. It's beautiful though!

    Too big arrangement for a size of a lamp like that, “proportion” it over powered the lamp 😊

      Cecil, the best part is that you can use it for other items in your home, like a table runner or wall pillar. Even a mantle garland! The possibilities are endless!

    It doesn't look right.The ribbon needs to be higher up on the top part of lantern.Beautiful swag tho

      The best part is that you can vary where you decide to place your bow.

    I love the swag but can’t understand the concept of the position of the swag. You don’t see the beauty of the lantern and when you turn it sideways you lose the beauty of the swag.

    • @KatsCreationsNMore
      @KatsCreationsNMore  Год назад

      It's meant to be an accent instead of something that cascades all over the lantern. This way it looks more aesthetically pleasing to the eye and you can position it anyway to looks the way you desire.

    When making these when you add greenery do you start out long then gradually get shorter? I'm having a hard time making one of these!

    • @KatsCreationsNMore
      @KatsCreationsNMore  16 дней назад +1

      You can Gladys, but just by moving them upwards or downwards gives the same idea, but helps keep the fullness as well.
