They were playing so well to end the season too. Had the privilege of being at the Iowa game.
There might be more dunks and blocks for the Illini in this video than in the previous 3 seasons combined lol. What a fun season it was!
Very special team. This video well represents the great talent and strengths of each player on both ends of the court. Can't wait for an amazing 2020-2021 season

I can sum this video up to ayo clutch and kofi blocks
I don’t think we would have had a favorable matchup in the 2nd round. Next year, Ayo or not, is going to be the year

Wrong, our shooting will be so much better next year and I think AG will fill Ayo’s production. Kofi and Giorgi get bigger stronger faster... Trent and Damonte take bigger rolls. We’re gonna be great
Ian Stuart so who’s our slasher? Cuz we don’t have elite offense comin from the supporting cast. 3pt shooting hasn’t been a crazy threat since 2013
Troy God Allen Griffin can get to the hoop just as good as Ayo and he’s a way better shooter. Curbelo brings a different dynamic that we don’t have. His play will open the floor to all of our new shooters. Don’t forget about Adam Miller and Coleman Hawkins. Ayo was Ayo his freshman year and we sucked. Kofi is what’s important here. Kofi, not Ayo
Ian Stuart I agree but I hope kofi trains with Shaq or something becuz his lack of awareness costs us in close games. Allen griffin is a way better shooter but he scares me as far as being a leader. I hope he doesn’t pull a Kendrick nunn
The tourney experience stolen away from this squad really hurt them the following year. Im still hurt from the loyola game
I think they were gelling at the right time. Coach was moving pieces and parts and they would have at least got to the sweet sixteen. Ayo playing the alpha DOG, But they also had players growing into being a good all-around team. And maybe with some early shockers, in the tournament they would have been one tough COOKIE.

Ayo game winner at Michigan
