"Hacks work in a specific context, virtues are transferable" Great quote!

Sam, I appreciate your grounded, common sense approach to an industry which is saturated with gurus selling people an unrealistic dream. The reality of work is that it’s hard and virtues are a must. Of course it’s hard to sell a pill that is difficult to swallow, so it’s not a surprise we don’t hear this more. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s refreshing.

🤟 every video is like real genuine message about work/discipline instead of this obsession with producctivity hacks like abdaal or the other "gurus". I respect you for being more masculine, politically incorrect and that you actually work out compared to others.
Thank you Sam for this antidote to chaos, stay strong💪

I think the reason why there's an emphasis on productivity rather than virtues is because it's easy to come off as preachy when discussing virtues.
Virutes touches on personal flaws, but productivity touches on "gaps within your system".
I'm in a position where I have to mentor my juniors... and it's difficult to touch on this topic.

Very informative and I have been taking notes to implement my own virtues. It is true that I fall into the perfectionism category. Trying my best to find new “hacks” for productivity to boost my best workflow. All while lacking the values and virtues behind why. It is a lot clearer when someone such as yourself explains this and the feature of quotes in this video was really helpful. I typed up that end quote word for word on my notes to read as a habit!

Really enjoyable. I'm organised, but for my desk, I like the balance between minimalist and untidy.
