I also JUST purchased a 2011 Yamaha Stryker in 2023 with only 15k miles on it for under $5k from a dealership. It's the BEST bike I've ever owned, or ridden. I have no complaints, it is stable in the wind, hella power, fun, no down sides at all. YAMAHA has always been ahead of the game. I am a bass player and play YAMAHA basses with Alembic guts, and YAMAHA bass amps. EDIT : I also came from the Shadow Spirit 750 ! I couldn't be happier. I love Honda, but this was an upgrade from the Shadow 750, although that bike is legendary, and bulletproof. Harley Sucks.
Looks super. Got a new leftover 2013 model and also picked up the memphis shades bullet fairing, the torque is awesome on our bikes. Little fuel programmer and twin slash exhaust and it responds instantly. Ride safe man, the bullet fairing is the best in for its size and effectiveness
Yeah man for sure, thanks for the like. I love it and it's a perfect follow up for your 750 Spirit. Actually my first bike was a 2007 Honda Shadow and I loved it, but I got to the point when I wanted a little more punch, and this baby just gives you all the punch you need and more.
Rid that tail section, and the bullet fairing is a good addition.....really looks amazing.. i cant get over bullet front fairings on strykers and raiders.. plain sex appeal
Nice bike as I always liked the black Strykers. Mine was Blue and not a bad bike as I put a cobra slip on exhaust and fuel controller. I would have kept it but very hard when I saw the Raider that I own and will never let it go. Yamaha makes great bikes and never understood why they stopped making big cruisers ughh. Take it easy.
Been looking to upgrade and these Strykers are what I'm looking at. Currently on a 750 Shadow Phantom, which is my first bike. Love my Phantom but would also like a bit more power, especially for highway speeds.
I had a Honda Shadow 750 before this as my first bike. The difference is gigantic. I would say it's well worth the upgrade if you can afford it. The highway punch that something like the Stryker has is very enjoyable. I'm still loving the bike, it's a blast.
I got the freedom big sweeps on mine looking to het the mini floor board I burn my damn leg on the exhaust. Do you recommend them? And do they sit just as high as the pegs
That sounds really nice. I always wanted the Halo ring also. I had a VT750 before this bike and I tried to retrofit myself a custom light for it and it was a gigantic pain. If you're going to do it yourself just make sure you know what you're getting into. That's my 2 cents.
yeah, I think that setup is one of the best configurations that you can put together. I love it, but also go on the Stryker forum and look at other ones to see what you like and people have. I am in love with this machine and can't justify getting anything else really. Power, looks, style, performance, all in one. Highly recommend.
You need the key. There is a keyhole on the kickstand side that you unlock and it releases the seat. After unlocking you slide it back and then forward and it should come out.
Hi nice bike I have a similar set up except I have different pipes. But I have a question on your Bullet Fairing, how well does it block out the wind? I’m thinking of purchasing one.
ALLAN FERRARIS yeah the Bullet Fairing is fine. The guy I bought the bike from had it on already. I really love the look on it, and definitely it helps with the wind. It's obviously not like a full windshield, which I also have, but it does make a difference compared to nothing at all. Take this with a grain of salt because all of this is very personal and a matter of feel. I would recommend riding with it if you have the chance to see how it feels before you buy it. That being said, I never take it off, I love it.
What's the exact model of windshield you have installed and what's the wind deflection like on such a low profile piece? I notice the lip at the top which I recently asked a Harley rider about on his windshield and he said it surprisingly deflected the wind quite well. I'm anxiously hoping to get my current bike sold so I can pick up a Stryker as well. Thanks.
Yeah man, I haven't had any issues with it. Have read a lot of things about the Stryker in the forums and no complaints about that specifically. The intruder 1400 is a great bike, hope you're enjoying it. Thinking of getting a Stryker?
That's sounds nice. I can tell you I love my Stryker and it is one powerful machine. If you have any more questions or anything you want to know let me know. Thanks for watching.
Time for an update. I did buy the Reddish Copper 2011 Stryler in the beginning of February. I had it delivered to my house that weekend right after a nice size snow storm. Still hadn't even test ridden it yet. About a week later we had a warm enough day to take it to work. About an hour ride each way. Since then it's been very cold here in Northern New Jersey and I haven't ridden it since. Big snow storm coming Tuesday. She doesn't turn at slow speeds very well compared to any of the other Bikes I've owned, but I think more riding will let me get used to it. Next weeks looks to be a very cold week too. Mods on my bike are the Cobra Swept Pipes in Chrome, the same Cobra Power Flow Air Intake in Chrome and a Michelin 240 Rear Tire.
One of the best looking Strykers

Can you share a link for the cowling? Looking at a 12 stryker this weekend. Thanks
Nice bike did you consider the Raider at all?
I got the freedom big sweeps on mine looking to het the mini floor board I burn my damn leg on the exhaust. Do you recommend them? And do they sit just as high as the pegs
Nice Bike! I just bought a 2012 and want to upgrade the Halogen Headlights...any recommendations on brand, model...I'm thinking of a Halo ring...

Looks good, !!!
Hi, im looking at buying a Stryker. You're happy with the cobra exhaust, air intake etc on your bike?
yeah, I think that setup is one of the best configurations that you can put together. I love it, but also go on the Stryker forum and look at other ones to see what you like and people have. I am in love with this machine and can't justify getting anything else really. Power, looks, style, performance, all in one. Highly recommend.
@@MauroBallG Thankyou. Enjoy the ride.
How do you get seat off just inherited
You need the key. There is a keyhole on the kickstand side that you unlock and it releases the seat. After unlocking you slide it back and then forward and it should come out.
Would the 240 tire fit on the same rim that has the 210 right now?
Yes 100%
Yes, that's the biggest that can fit. It's what I did.

Nice bike. I have a old Suzuki Intruder 1400 (I love it), so you think the belt transmission in your bike are good system? Reliable?
Yeah man, I haven't had any issues with it. Have read a lot of things about the Stryker in the forums and no complaints about that specifically. The intruder 1400 is a great bike, hope you're enjoying it. Thinking of getting a Stryker?
I'm thinking too. Just took a look at a 2011 a few hours ago. Red with the same pipes and Air Cleaner except they are chrome.
