I love this type of videos, they’re so satisfying. I remember about two or three years ago I had in between 100-200 lipsticks. Then one day I decided I didn’t need that many and now I have about 9 or 12.

I think you got rid of a lot, but I would have made different choices. I know you had like 3 of some of the MAC shades, and while I love MAC, I would rather have some of the other shades/formulas. It honestly hurt to see you pass on Pat McGrath, her formula is really good :)

Thank you for doing swatches! I just went through my collection and gave away some of my favorite expensive brands, but they were colors I just won't wear. If they're unopened I put them on poshmark. Still hard to say goodbye though. If I were you I would think about taking some of the duplicate shades back to MAC and getting a new pretty shade!

Years ago I bought a kit to take ur broken lipstick and retube them. I lost it while moving. Wouldnt it be fun to take a bunch of the lipsticks melt them down and even if u dont have the tube maker you could put them in cute tins or something. I had a really old silver lipstick tube that belonged to my mother. It was sterling with turquoise. I wanted to remove the residual in there that I kept because it reminded me of my mom's coral lips. Anyway. I wanted to use it again and I lost that too. :(
I still think it would be fun to try and make ur own custom color formula. Lol
I dont own any mac at all. I only have a few minis and a few lipsticks of fancy brands. 99% of my lip stuff is drugstore. I can tell the difference in quality with higher end but my purse makes me be happy with drugstore. Lol
The fancy brands that I own either came in a kit or boxycharm. I do wish I could buy a few that i really like. My colors. I'd like to buy a whole set of full face of really good products. Lol. I feel content with drugstore for now. That's a someday. I really dont feel the need to buy high end mascara because it goes bad so fast. Same with the felt pen eyeliners. I bought a stila eyeliner and was pissed that it dried up so fast. I really LOVE cover girl exhibitionist mascara and eyeliner. I hope it stays around for a long time.
I love the idea of melting them down and making a new shade perhaps 😘

Good declutter! Girl, it's hard to read those lipstick labels with the tiny print. I am almost 47 years old and I use a magnifier to read them. Lol😜
