Recently got the watch for Christmas and was devastated when I realized dexcom wasn't compatible. This video basically solved everything thank you so so much
Wouldn't you think Dexcom would make an app specifically for the watch?? We shouldn't have to go through these hacks and hoops to get something so invaluable.

@@typ3me Thank you Ben. After using your hack for the Dexcom on the Galaxy 4 watch, I noticed that it continued to sometimes fail to receive the CGM readings from my phone. This became problematic for me and therefore I switched to the Blose CGM app. However, even with the Blose app, I still had occasional failures. While searching for another CGM app I found your new video. The new updated and improved method works perfectly now. I like the huge CGM display and that the readings change color based upon low, in range or high. It's got all the information I need except for the current date. I've been using it for the past two weeks now and have never lost a CGM reading. This looks to be the one I will use on a daily basis and just keep the Blose app as a backup watch face (and when I need the date). I just had a birthday and am now 73 and in a short time I will mark 65 years as a type 1. For most of my life all I had available were Clinitest Tablets (i.e. Benedict's copper reduction reaction) and Test Tape. Both were for testing glucose in urine. Those was the only affordable tests. Test Tape came in a little plastic box with a roll of yellow tape inside. You'd pull out a piece of the tape and rip it off on a cutter on the box. Then pass the tape through your urine stream (being careful not to make a mess) and then compare the color change to a legend on the tape container. I'm glad those days are gone! So thanks again Ben for all your wonderful help!
Hi Bob, Happy Birthday. I'm very glad that the new method worked for you. Technology has come SO FAR. I definitely would have dreaded having to urinate on tape strips. I wish you good health and a full life.
I also have a Galaxy Watch 4 and I didn't need to do any of that. I simply searched for Dexcom CGM watch face on my watch. Installed it, then using my phone selected the watch face and DONE! Only thing was, I didn't like the look of the Dexcom graph as a "watch face" so it didn't last long. My phone never leaves my side BUT I don't always wear my watch so thought it better to simply see my Dexcom results on my phone.

I've been struggling for about a year without the Dexcom G6 app on my Fossil Carlyle HR smart watch. A t-slim rep told me there were options online. I found your RUclips video. What a wonderful find! Thank you so much! Kudos to you.

Thank you so much for this step by step info. Crazy it takes all of this to make things work. For me I went thru all the steps and it seemed like it still was not working...but about 5 minutes later I started getting reading on my watch...yay!! So for me it was not immediate. Also after successfully getting readings for over two weeks I woke up this morning and no readings on the phone...kinda panicked at first but went thru your set up again and it started working. Not sure why it just stopped working but was glad I kept your video handy. Thanks again, Dr. Dave
Hi Dr Patterson, I have the same issue intermittently but I just simply power cycle the devices to get them back in sync. I've had 2 or 3 comments that have suggested the same.

Hi, the video helped me loads in resolving the same issue. I've got a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G and a Galaxy Classic Watch4. Had to use Wear Installer 2 on my phone, enable debug on my watch and enable adb and debug over WiFi. Match the IP address. And install the app from the phone. No wear installer 2 version for classic watch4 select the dexcom watch face and restart both phone and watch. Boom!! You can then disable the adb and debugging as the watch and dexcom g6 watch face will still work. Thanks so much for the point in the right direction..
Thank you for making this video! I was able to get a Galaxy Watch 4 on sale and an added education discount since im in college. I kept losing connection to the app though and was getting frustrated, so a big thank you to Gary Xu too for commenting below to force-stop the app if the readings stopped transmitting. This saved my sanity today!!!

Just FYI. After allow the permission of the app on the watch, you don't have to reboot the watch or the phone. Just simply force stop the Dexcom G6 app in your phone setting-app section, and restart the Dexcom G6 app on your phone and the watch will show the blood glucose reading.
youre a legend with this hack! originally i followed this video when I first got dexcom 2 months ago and it worked fine til a few days ago.. tried following this video again but wouldnt work.. would show "check dexcom cgm on phone." did the force stop and it worked again on my watch. Thank you to both of you!
I have struggled to make this work. I follow along with your video and then I do not get the same screens as you. I am a retired computer techie and consider myself pretty good with doing these things, but this has really baffled me. I will surely try again and let you know. I appreciate your getting back to me. I will let you know either way if it works or not! I'm curious if others have had the same problem as me. I'd love to know your success rate. Thanks.
After I thought I did my due diligence (multiple sales people told me Galaxy 4 has Wear OS but no one mentioned Samsungs own flavour) I was also devasted to find it was not supported out of the box. Love the cockatiel in the background, much calmer than my budgies!

Hi ,great video . I got the watch for my 7 years old daughter and concted as per your instructions. Can you please tell me is there any way to use the watch without the phone .She use G6 and samung 4 watch and S21FE phone. I got her networks also connected LTE to her watch and uses same Networks.
Hi Ali, tha k you fir the compliment, unfortunately the answer is no. The issue is with the Bluetooth technology in the g6. The g7 will be the first CGM to connect direct to watch, but will be limited to Apple watches off the bat. I hope this helps.

Thank you for posting this valuable information!!... I will be upgrading my 11 yo son's samsung Active 2 smartwatch soon (since it runs on Tizen and uses native apps and the wear installer does not exist in galaxy store) . Qq for you, did you buy the one with the LTE version with ph line (major carrier) or just the watch? Thanks!
Thank you Ben. It worked on the Bluetooth version too! Long story long...because my son is a minor and his phone has family link, it was a bit tricky (I had to change his Google Play account settings to no restrictions to add apps so his watch could access play store and also force settings to family link)... then follow the steps for the wear installer as you laid out... the reverse settings for google play and family link... we love he is able to look at the graph on his phone (only down side is the watch has 20ft or so range to his phone)

Hi and thank you so much for an easy to follow video🙏🏻! I managed to do every step but downloading the Wear Installer app on my daughters brand new Galaxy watch 5. I couldn't even find it, it didn't appear! The top option was File Transfer (wear OS), and even if I did scroll further down, the "Wear Installer" didn't show!? Am I way off track here? I just want it to work but I'm the worst at this sort of things! 🙈
Hi Linn. I have a new and much simpler method for you to view your CGM numbers on your smartwatch. It has also proven to be very reliable. Just try this method out. ruclips.net/video/tJQJmGYLOVQ/видео.html
Hi , thanks you SO much for this elaborated and clear video I have encountered an issue ,that after successfully installation on my galaxy watch 4 ,I don't see the Dexcom app in my galaxy watch app -> permissions but there is a watch face ,which is not reading, of course the CGM data
Thanks for following up. I have watched your latest video regarding Galaxy 4 watch "Hack". No matter what I try, I can not get the Dexcom G6 readout on my watch. I think I have to download "Play store" on my watch in order to download the apps you mention. Right now, I only have "Galaxy Store". What are your thoughts on that ? Thank you. It's been a while since I tried it so I don't remember exactly what failed. I can try again and let you know.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy Store won't be able to provide you with the apps you need to utilize these hacks. So, unfortunately. I wish I could be of more help but it sounds like our hands are tied with your device's capabilities.
Amazing! Thanks so much, your instructions were so helpful. Having CGM readings and graph on my watch is so great. One detail however. At 4:45, your IP address explanation is not 100% and may misslead some people. Not a biggie!

Good question. Unfortunately, the app does require a Bluetooth connection from the phone to the watch to download the Follow data from the cloud every 5 minutes.
Thanks Frank, I'm currently on System Version 11 using Wear OS 3.2. Not sure why some people choose the gwatch app but either way I'm just glad to see people benefitting from the technology.

Thank you for this video! My 8 year old son was very recently diagnosed with Type 1, and we've been looking for things to make it easier with school starting soon - just bought him the watch based on the WearOS comparability and found the watch face didn't work. Followed your video and we are good to go now! This is going to help him out a lot as we bought the watch for him solely for using this feature. One question - does developer mode need to stay on after we do this?

Great instructions. It worked great for about 2 weeks then it kept stopping sending the signal. I could fix this with restarting my phone. But after a few weeks of that it stopped sending the reading to my watch all together. Do you know how to remove the dexcom app from the phone to try a fresh install or know of another fix?
First try to switch watch faces, then back to the g6 face. If that doesn't work restart the watch. If all else fails factory reset the watch and start over. I hope it works for you
@@typ3me I've restarted both and switched watch faces. Also reloaded the app and left both devices off for 10 min. Still nothing. I'll try to reset it.
@@typ3me I've reset the watch and reinstalled the dexcom app on the watch. Now it is giving me the check dexcom on mobile device screen even after I allowed the permissions and powered down for 5 min. I noticed before that the dexcom app will not connect to samsung health either. It lets me turn it on but does not prompt for the next screen to allow click allow like it says it should. Samsung health also shows nothing under data permissions. I wonder if that has something to do with it. I uninstalled samsung health and the dexcom app this morning when I changed the sensor and that did not help. Any idea of what to try next?
Odd I restarted a few more times and it finally showed up on the watch. I guess it has nothing to do with dexcoms app connection to samsung health. To bad that wont work, but at least the watch is giving me my readings now. If you have any ideas about the samsung health app let me know. Thank you for the replies and help!
It works great better than all the idiots on Facebook and everywhere else thank you so much I don't know if you got it but you're supposed to turn on Wi-Fi shut off Bluetooth turn off Bluetooth and then in the end and close out developer options once it's working save the battery

Hi Ben, love your work. Hoping that you can help. I previously used this method to connect my Dexcom G6 to my Samsung s20 and Mobvoi ticwatch pro 3 and it works brilliantly. I have recently upgraded to the Dexcom G7 and now cannot connect to my watch as Dexcom appear to have removed support for the G7 on wear OS. Is there any other way of getting my blood glucosecreading from G7 to Samsung to ticwatch. Thanks
Hi Damien, I have another solution that might help. There is a different method with fewer issues that works with G7. Try this. ruclips.net/video/tJQJmGYLOVQ/видео.html Hope this helps.
@typ3me thank you for your reply, much appreciated. Unfortunately I can't find the Blose app on play store on my mobvoi ticwatch pro 3. I can find it on my Samsung S20 fe when I Google it but no option to download. Any suggestions? Thank you again for all your work.

does this work if there are 2 different monitoring? I have 2 sons, both are T1D, both have Dexcom G6 cgms. I think the idea of monitoring their levels from watch, but all the videos i see are just for monitoring one sensor. We are very active, swimming, mtb, sports games, etc. The convienance of montioring for watch would AWESOME! Any help would be helpful. Great video by the way.
Unfortunately all devices on the market as of yet will only allow one Healthcare bluetooth device at a time. Although other devices like headphones and speakers can work simultaneously with the watches without causing the cgm to loose connection, the 2 G6s, (1 from each boy) cannot connect the same watch. Sorry to say that the answer is no it will not work with the current technology. Good luck with your boys, I have 2 of my own and they can be a handful

Great video. When the dexcom app provides an alert for low or high glucose reading, and it alters the watch, can you acknowledge it via the watch just like acknowledging on the dexcom app on your phone? (I know this can be done using wear os on a fossil watch)
Hey Frank, in computing, native software or data-formats are those that were designed to run on a particular operating system. an example the g6 app works with Garmin watches without using a 3rd party app. Wear installer is a 3rd party cross platform app not from Dexcom or Fossil, so it is not considered native.

Thanks for sharing your 'hack' to other diabetics that have been trying to get this to work (or waiting for Dexcom to provide a solution). While I have not tried it yet (but I AM), are there any other watch faces that support BG displays that will work with your solution? Will be happy with any watch face that works, but just curious if other BG faces from other providers work. Really appreciate your share...

@@caryholt3611 Cary, thanks for sharing this 'quick change' option. While I usually leave the watch on the Dexcom watch face, every once in a while I like to change it to a regular watch face. This makes for an easy 'swap out'.
Hi Ben, hoping you can help. I have a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and iPhone 6S is this combination possible to have Dexcom G6 readings on watch? Tried looking through so much and cant quite get conclusive answer. Thank you!
Hey Ryan. Unfortunately these 2 platforms won't work together until the g7 begins to work direct to watch. Your best bet is to upgrade to an apple watch for native watch support or swap phones to a supported android to use my methods. Good luck.
I was able to follow all steps. The problem is that when I choose the dexcom watch face in the galaxy wearable app, my watch face doesn't change. I can put any other watch face, and it changes on the watch, except for dexcom, that is the only one that doesn't work. I don't see any error message it just appears to have no effect. When I choose the dexcom watch face, my watch4 classic wakes up, but the watch face didn't change from what it was set to previously. Rebooting the watch doesn't help. Is this strick still working with latest Android and latest wear OS?
@@typ3mesame thing. When I long press the watch face on the watch, scroll to Dexcom and choose it, it comes back to the watch face, but nothing changed. It's as if that dexcom watch face was silently crashing.
That might be it. I was recently told by another viewer that the s22 will not support wear installer applications. Let me know if you find a patch and I can try to make a different video, good luck to you.

On this video the Wear Installer does not work on the phone. It is requiring the NWS app to be installed on the phone. It is not compatible on the S22 Ultra. As much as I want this to work, I have already spent days and downloaded countless "wearable" apps on my phone and watch. Thank you.

Hi there. I just need to ask you question! I think this can be great present for my 9y boy. He use my old S9 at school, but the teachers hold his phone due to rules at school. They do a great job with him, but often when he is on playground far from phone, we can't see his data. If i buy watch4 4g and fit sim card with internet, can i use dexcom again without phone?
Unfortunately the option to send CGM data direct to watch is not available for the G6 but has been rumored for the G7. Even though the watch has internet the CGM data is still Bluetooth and would require the phone to be nearby to be read. Hope this helps.
Have you pushed this issue with the school? I find it hard to believe they wouldn't make an exception to their rules in this scenario, and if the specific school won't budge go up the food chain. Rules are great, but specific situations should be taken into account.

Your instructions are spot on; just that the watch and the phone are not cooperating....my phone screen says Sending the extracted APK to your watch, this wil take some time. I had to hand type the address on the watch into the phone...Getting error msg "connection failed".. The watch says 0.0.0.0 and I have verified it's got wifi connections....suggestions?
Unfortunately I haven't encountered anyone with the same issue. If you do find a resolution please feel free to share it with the channel. Good Luck to you.
@@typ3me Still no luck. I uninstalled Wear Installer on the watch and tried again; still same message. Are some watches disabled for this for some reason? I am able to debug with no problem but phone and watch won't connect

Hi, I previously loaded the app on my S22Ultra and Galaxy classic 4 watch without an issue. I recently had to have the phone replaced because of a broken LCD screen and had to reboot the watch. Wear installer. Or longer comes up in the app store on the watch. Is there a work around? Also the dexcom watch face doesn’t appear in the galaxy wearable app as it previously did.
I'm still messing with this...though you mention that there are 10 numbers in the IP...I have 9 and while they match on the phone's wear installer and the watches, it won't connect.

Hi Chips, the Garnin Vivo active 4 works with the g6 through an app called connect IQ. My video hack is only for Android watches using the Wear OS software. Here is the link for Garmin devices, hope this helps. www.garmin.com/en-US/c/dexcom-ciq/

I have noticed that using Android version 12 (with a Samsung A52 5G) the Galaxy Watch 4 will sometimes suddenly stop showing the Dexcom CGM readings. It can be easily fixed by performing a forced stop on the Dexcom G6 app on the phone and then just opening the Dexcom G6 app again. The CGM readings will then be displayed once again on the watch. This sudden stop of the CGM readings may only happen once in a couple of days or it may occur 3 or 4 times in a single day. I'm not sure what triggers this behavior although I think charging the watch may contribute to this action. I intend to keep a close watch on the watch to see if I can narrow down what is causing this malfunction and I'll report back if I discover the root of the problem.
Thanks for the info Bob, I have had that issue very intermittently for no reason. I charge the watch every night without issue but will loose readings throughout the day. Yet this hasn't happened for awhile now. I look forward to your findings .
@@sarahtravis5872 This issue might be with the Dexcom G6 app but it could also be with the Samsung watch as well. I need to do some more investigation. Although the problem is minor, it is inconvenient.
After about a week of experimentation, I've found that if the CGM reading fails to appear on the watch face and instead you see two black dashes, just rotate your wrist to turn the display off and then rotate your wrist back to activate the display again and then the CGM reading will appear. I still don't know what causes this but a quick double flip of the wrist (display on, then off and then on again) causes the display to show up after the second wrist flip. And, of course, the forced stop of the Dexcom G6 on the phone still works too.

Hi Brandon, Yes, it depends on the device. Wear installer and wear installer 2 are available for the Galaxy s21. If your having trouble I made a new video with an easier method, I hope this helps. ruclips.net/video/Qit52Xb48-A/видео.html
@@typ3me thanks for the reply. When I got my new G5 watch I was able to download installer to it. Then the watch needed to be reinstalled because it somehow lost connection to mg phone google pixel 7 pro. Now I can't install wear installer or wear installer 2
Is your G6 and watch integration still working? I have tried on 3 watches and can't get it to work. Hours with tech support at Dexcom and finally tell me it won't work and they don't know when they may get it resolved.
Hi Steve, Yes, mine still works, but I have a new method with fewer issues and is much easier to set up. Try this. ruclips.net/video/tJQJmGYLOVQ/видео.html Hope this helps.
Good evening! I have a question. I have installed everything on my watch. It was working great for a while. But when I leave my house, I don't get readings on my watch. It is really weird, because I wasn't having an issue, prior to about 3 weeks ago, maybe. Any help would be appreciated!
That is strange. If the phone is with you the watch should connect to it wherever you are. The g6 connects to the phone, the phone receives your blood glucose reading then sends it to your watch regardless of your location. Sorry, let me know if you figure it out.
@@typ3me Yeah I find it weird as well. I am not having issues with my cell service while I am out. I make phone calls while I am out, text, browse the internet, etc. I carry my cell on my person too. Not sure if that would cause an issue or not. But when I turn my watch off, then back on the next day. I have zero issues. I don't know what to do. I will keep you posted if I do figure it out. Thanks 😊

Thanks for developing this helpful app. i tried to to follow all the steps on my galaxy watch 4, but i can't find the DEXCOM G6 on my Authorised app on the GWatch. can any one help plz ?
Thank you but I did not develop the app, I just relayed the info in a way that is easy for people to utilize. The Dexcom app will not be found under your watch app section but should be found under watch faces on your watch. After going through the process just switch the face on the watch and hope for the best. Good luck.

I am running a Galaxy A53 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, I am able get to the watch face installed but for the life of me i can't get it to display my glucose. I have checked the permissions and rebooted the phone and app several times. Any idea on what i am missing? What's annoying is i had to use wear installer on my tic watch pro and did not have this issue.
Hi Andrew, there can be a few variables including wifi or phone permissions and security. I made a new video with a much better watch face and easier method. I hope this helps. ruclips.net/video/Qit52Xb48-A/видео.html
This works perfect and shows dexcom on my galaxy 4 watch. Now when I swipe it shows red and blue graph lines across the screen. Is there a way to stop or turn the lines off? It's like it's showing every touch on the screen. Thanks!
@@typ3me yes, I just factory reset the watch. It's very weird. I just got the watch yesterday. When I swipe it would show red and blue dotted lines like the graph. Any motion on the face would show lines. I will set the watch back up and see what happens.

Some update recently made the dexcom number not connect to the watch face anymore. I puttzed around with various settings and changes to get it to reconnect (over the course of weeks). No dice. So I reset my whole watch to start over tonight. Wear Installer is not available anymore from playstore on the watch face. I was able to download it on my phone still. Skiing next week is going to be more of a pain in the butt since now I'll have to dig my phone or pump out. :( So sad.
I might be able to help. I made a new video with a easy method. ruclips.net/video/Qit52Xb48-A/видео.html Good luck, I really hope your able to get it working before your trip.
Hello your video has helped me out alot. Thank you so much. Now here my problem. I had to replace my phone, Received the same phone. Had to do a bunch of updates with the firmware once all of that was done wear installer dosent send the dexcom over to the watch. Can you pls help thanknyou in advance

I wish you good health and a full life.
not him who as figured all this its me!
Fantastic, thank you for taking the time to share this information, type 1 diabetic for 33 year's now and this will be life changing for me.

Dave

Brilliant! Thank you and your welcome as well.
Im glad it works. Thanks Sarah for the comment and Gary for the helpful tips. Good luck in college.

Just FYI. After allow the permission of the app on the watch, you don't have to reboot the watch or the phone. Just simply force stop the Dexcom G6 app in your phone setting-app section, and restart the Dexcom G6 app on your phone and the watch will show the blood glucose reading.
Good point
My watch is still saying to check it on my phone. after both restarting and force stopping the app. anything else i can do to make it work
I'm not sure if I asked this already but have you tried to long press your watch face in order to switch to the dexcom watch Face

Thanks!
Thank you for the kind words. I purchased with a major carrier, Tmobile. Let me know if this works for you. Good luck.
That's fantastic. Great work and great advice. He's lucky he has a smart Dad like you to keep working on it, until you got the solution he needed.

Hi , thanks you SO much for this elaborated and clear video
I have encountered an issue ,that after successfully installation on my galaxy watch 4 ,I don't see the Dexcom app in my galaxy watch app -> permissions
but there is a watch face ,which is not reading, of course the CGM data
Hi Yossi, your welcome. The hack can still work if you skip the app permission step. Just follow the rest of the directions and let me know.

Is it possible to get results from the Dexcom to the watch without the need for a phone (stand alone
Good question. Not yet. The Dexcom G7 was developed with this in mind but the setting is not yet available.

Hi Thanks for that info. Will this app keep working and send info to the following app when a phone is not around?
Good question. Unfortunately, the app does require a Bluetooth connection from the phone to the watch to download the Follow data from the cloud every 5 minutes.

Is your galaxy 4 watch using wear os 3?
Also do you know why some people choose to use the g-watxh app instead?

Yew Sir, I found a new method that works like a charm. Here's the link, and good luck.

The line issue almost sounds like a back screen. I wonder.
Fantastic, I never thought about shutting dev options back off. Thanks for the comment and advice.

Try this.
ruclips.net/video/tJQJmGYLOVQ/видео.html
Hope this helps.
@typ3me thank you for your reply, much appreciated. Unfortunately I can't find the Blose app on play store on my mobvoi ticwatch pro 3. I can find it on my Samsung S20 fe when I Google it but no option to download. Any suggestions? Thank you again for all your work.
You can try switching the device you're dowloading to on your phones app store below the download button
hi there. Im from korea and I like your video.. but I have a question on it. can I use the dexcom app in the watch widget?
Hi Exxxee, no, unfortunately, this watch face only mirrors the cgm value and does not interact with the app itself. Thanks for the question.
This works well. Just a note, though. My IP address was only 9 digits. However, when I made them match, it worked.

does this work if there are 2 different monitoring?

Since its not a native app, unfortunately no, but if you find a way be sure to let me know.
@@typ3me when you say not a native app, do you know if it is considered as a native app on a Fossil Watch Gen5 using Wear OS

Thanks for the comment, unfortunately I've only tried this method on the Galaxy Watch 4. Reddit is a good resource for finding other solutions as well. Good luck to you .
@@typ3me Via your video, followed your procedure and it worked perfectly. Thanks for taking the time to work out the issues and shooting the tutorial. Nice work.
@@chrisalbright4825 @typ3me i just did this and figured out you can have the regular watch face and cgm. can toggle between both. simply just push and hold the home watch face screen and it will zoom out. buzz once and you can just click the next watch face (cgm screen) and then do the same to go back. makes it almost like a tile
Thanks Chris this is a great feature, I keep it on CGM just because I'm lazy, but yes it definitely will allow for this and it's a great option
Try long pressing your watch face. Then side scroll to select thr dexcom watch face.
@@typ3mesame thing. When I long press the watch face on the watch, scroll to Dexcom and choose it, it comes back to the watch face, but nothing changed. It's as if that dexcom watch face was silently crashing.

Is the watch calibrated to check the readings or is it just showing the dexcoms readings from the dexcom device
The watch reads directly from the phones G6 app to mirror its readings onto the watch.

I have watched a couple of your videos. I have a Samsung Galaxy watch 4 and a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. There always seems to be 1 step or 1 app that does not work.

I thought I was the only one with this issue. Thanks for the tip. Sure hope dexcom figures this out soon.
Cool trick
It works perfectly for xdrip+ as well. Thanks bro.

Try this.

Thanks 😊

Do I have to have service or a data plan on my watch for this to work?
Hi Melany. No, the watch uses Bluetooth to connect to an internet capable phone.

@@typ3me Thanks that's a clever alternative
This works perfect and shows dexcom on my galaxy 4 watch. Now when I swipe it shows red and blue graph lines across the screen. Is there a way to stop or turn the lines off? It's like it's showing every touch on the screen. Thanks!
I've never heard of this. Have you tried a simple reboot of both devices?
@@typ3me yes, I just factory reset the watch. It's very weird. I just got the watch yesterday. When I swipe it would show red and blue dotted lines like the graph. Any motion on the face would show lines. I will set the watch back up and see what happens.

Hello ma'am/sir, I have a question if that will work in the Philippines
Yes as long as you have compatible devices.
I made a new video with a easy method. ruclips.net/video/Qit52Xb48-A/видео.html
Good luck, I really hope your able to get it working before your trip.
Hello your video has helped me out alot. Thank you so much. Now here my problem. I had to replace my phone, Received the same phone. Had to do a bunch of updates with the firmware once all of that was done wear installer dosent send the dexcom over to the watch. Can you pls help thanknyou in advance
Hi Romel did you figure it out yet, if not let me know what step you are on.
@typ3me I'm at at the beginning waiting for it to ask me to download the file. It just stays on and nothing sent to my watch at all. Factory reset my watch and started over same thing
Try it another wifi network most of the time the firewall prevents this step. Also try turning off power saving mode on your phone if it's on
@@typ3me Good afternoon I just want to say thank you I know you're very busy I found out where the problem was it wasn't with the process that you showed me and no I should say showed us which I'm very grateful and the problem is the new firmware for the S22 it is not compatible with wearing installer. I have to request another warranty exchange didn't do none of the firmware updates to my phone cause I have on a Samsung Galaxy note 10 plus so without being said without doing any of the firmware updates I was able to get it to work
Oh thank God. So the s22 won't allow wear installer? That's good to know.
Hi there, wonder if u can help me, I get to about 4.45 on your video, I select Dexcom G6 app on my phones and then my phone just says "Sending the extracted APK to your watch (this will take some time)" and nothing more happens. Would love a hand to help me over this bump!
I first suggest restarting both devices then trying the process from the begining.

Hi! I'm not sure if this is just my issue or not but I can't find wear installer app on the watch.. I was able to find wear installer app on my phone but not on my watch:(
I have another solution that might help. There is a different method with fewer issues that is much easier to set up. Try this.

@typ3me I think it doesn't work because I'm using galaxy z flip :( i can't even use dexcom on z flip. Thank you for your help anyways!
