Finally, smiling Brides! Who woulda’ thought that seeing BRIDES smiling would be such a rarity? Many I have seen on other videos are more conducive to going to a funeral! Stern, blank faced stares...glum/sad. UGH! What a breath of fresh air to actually see what a BRIDE looks like, in the dress and in a SMILE! Thank you Pnina..... I watch these so much because I am 66 years old, been married a few times but never wore or even tried on a Wedding Dress. I think I will put that on my bucket list even though I will never marry again. Would love to know what it feels like! Your designs are beyond reproach! Stunning and glamorous! Bravo!
When models smile everybody’s attention is on the model when they have a serious look everybody’s eyes are on the dress so yeah models should have a no expression face just like mannequins
It's amazing that the only thing you got out of this shows was the look of the dress ....didn't matter that a lot of the woman were of normal size fur the every day bride ...SMH

However you only have to watch any bridal show on tv to see you have such an emotional connection with a wedding dress and it would be nice if the models show some emotions. Clothes are supposed to make you look AND feel fabulous so let’s see that. When you smile you hold yourself differently and look far more beautiful than just your looks. Some models I’ve seen look thoroughly miserable it’s actually put me off liking some outfits. Not everyone who goes to shows or watches them are “ buyers” some are brides themselves and you want to see and feel that a dress makes you feel special and fabulous.

I find it sad how showing skin on women even in a fashionable way is seen as non elegant, trashy, or tasteless. We all have bodies that are beautiful yet people choose to demonise them and teach us our worth comes from our bodies and not us.
For some women. Not all. People vary greatly. Brides tend to be much older now, and in the south, anyway, most are doing the Walmart waddle by high school. But to say real women are all fat isn't fair, or healthy, any more than to say all brides are slim.
I am not sure if bride at 4:30 is worried she’ll step on the dress, or maybe the corset of the dress does not support the weight of the bottom, but the way she is carrying the front of the dress in her hands is not doing the presentation of the dress any favours.
Although quite a few have the characteristic revealing style that Pnina is known for, I’m happy to see there are also several demure non-revealing looks or ones that could be easily altered to cover up more.
Me watching say yes to the dress: "Oh how pretty!" The Show everytime: "This is a Pnina Tornai." 😍 If I ever get married I'll probably wear one of her dresses.
Actually, I thought Pnina was a bit more conservative on this collection than she has been in the past. You can always ask for paneling to cover the openness of the bodice or to have the neckline sewn a little higher in the front if you don't like the severe dip. But if you look at the overall sihloutte and design of the gowns, I think this collection is a winner. I especially liked the last gown. "Hoolerish" I don't think is the right word. A lot of brides think they should look sexy on their wedding day, but who are they trying to impress? It's an ego thing and ten years later, when they look at their photos, they will regret it. After all, they are paying for their own regret.
I love Pnina’s gowns stunning, sadly I’m too old for her dresses now but I’d have loved to have had the chance to wear one at my wedding if it goes ahead x
You're never too old for a Pnina gown. She has several in her collection that would flatter an older woman. I'm almost 60 & if I were getting married again I'd definitely try on a few Pnina gowns! 😊👍
My daughter's first wedding gown cost $99 off the rack on sale. It was made from the same type of satin & pearl embellishments that are used in the making of Pnina's gowns & she looked absolutely gorgeous! The dress doesn't have to cost $10,000 to look pretty. But, that same daughter is getting remarried next year & this time around her gown cost $2,150. She definitely went for a different look & brand this time. Hopefully, this marriage will last. Lol.
I’m so glad strapless gowns have gone out of fashion. Very few women can wear them and they are so boring. And half of the dress design is missing. So much more opportunity for design and variety
I SO agree. Here you have some gorgeous ball room skirts and the bodice is like a trashy hooker only in white. I did like several of the gowns. But I suppose there are young women out there, with the wow bodies, who want to show off all their “charms” on their wedding day yet it looks so unclassy. Save it for your new hubby, ladies.
That’s collection is hit and miss. Some of them look really pretty and really wearable and then others look like she was half asleep when she designed them. That first one especially yikes.
Uh, they go up to over $30,000!! I saw a Kleinfeld Bridal "Say Yes to the Dress" video clip where the bride bought a $36,000 Pnina Tornai gown!! That's just plain crazy!! 🤪
Finally, some models with human faces and they're lovely as can be. The fashion is outstanding. I don't even know how to pronounce the designer's name but it's a very professional designer

It’s nice to include real sized models and everything, but still having super thin models on the runway (0:43) is disturbing. Pnina tornei is encouraging her and other modes to stay eating-disorder thin by making this acceptable My mom had an eating disorder as a teen and I’m so thankful she recovered and is staying healthy. I have no idea what id do if she stopped eating. This kills people.
Well how very lovely to see the fuller figure represented here! I think those miserably emaciated models don’t look at all attractive (l want to take them out for pie & chips!)
I'm surprised by how much I like a lot of these. They always seem to show the cheap/trashy looking ones on SYTTD but a lot of these are actually quite nice
