Cabin Tour: Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Large Balcony - Norwegian Encore - Room 17114

- I recently sailed on an Alaskan cruise aboard the Norwegian Encore. Through Norwegian's upgrade program, I was able to get a cabin in The Haven for the first time. This is a tour of my cabin (room #17114) - a Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Large Balcony (category HE). It was located just a few steps from the beautiful Haven Courtyard, the concierge desk, the Haven Restaurant, and the Haven lounge.
This room tour shows you my cabin in great detail, including the upgraded furniture, king size bed, bathroom with luxurious rainfall shower head and body jets, and the enlarged ocean view balcony. I hope you enjoy this tour!

Thank you for making/sharing this video Tim. My husband just surprised me with the news we have been upgraded to this exact room on our cruise leaving out of Seattle on Sunday. It is a 21 day repositioning cruise from SEA to MIAMI via the Panama Canal. This is definitely looking like the best way to spend 21 days.

Thanks for sharing. Will be in same type room in June of 2024. Was curious about outlets.
It was a very nice room and I don't recall any issues having enough outlets to plug in all my devices, but it was just me.

Thank you for a straight forward tour. We were just upgraded to the Haven for next month's cruise.....We have the same class with the large balcony. Might need it now that we have to wear masks.

Thanks for your kind words! I believe I used a DJI Pocket 2 camera for this footage if I recall correctly. It has a built-in gimbal which definitely helps with stability.
Hi Tim, I will have the exact same cabin (on opposite starboard side) in February 2022. Thanks for good report. Is it storage room for a large suitcase under the bed while cruising?
Excellent! I hope you have a great time. Yes, I stored my fairly large Brenthaven suitcase under the bed without problems.
Can this courtyard room be changed to twin beds?
Does the King bed separate into two beds?

It would have been nice if you could have panned the camera up so viewers could see how far the overhang is and how much direct sunlight the balcony gets.

I’m surprised they only have 2 non lounger chairs on this big balcony and a very small table that looks like it can only hold 1 drink at a time😂
I agree. Actual lounge chairs would've been nice and I believe they would've fit. I'm sure if I would've asked, they would've got some for me. It was a little cold for that on this sailing though.
