This is a video showing how I create quilted vinyl, I hope you find it useful. This pattern is the Lola handbag by Swoon Patterns. My website is www.jakaridesigns.com
did you cut the vinyl larger than the pattern? Quilting can cause fabric/vinyl to 'shrink" a bit-- also, the quilting ruler you used has a 45 degree line on it
Good video. next time try keeping the needle in your work by travelling to the next line around the edge that way you will not have to do back stitching. and learn how to use your knee lift its much easier than what you are doing.
lynnval33 my opinion is that it depends on the machine. She has a pretty good machine. When I sewed with an affordable Singer/Brother home machine versus a Viking Husqvarna designer SE the difference is huge. I wanted a Juki at first but I also was interested in embroidery so I went for the Viking..
Wow, I love that bag. I’ve seen it before but not quilted and it’s been nice but this brings it to another level. I am going to try this for sure. I have a super silly question, if I were to use leather, do I have to add foam? Thanks so much :)
Thanks for the tutorial, I’m going to give this a try!
I think I’ll start with a small zipper bag, my skills need some skill 😅
Beautiful bag. 😊
I love barking dogs! You’re so talented!
You have given me the confidence to give this a try. Thanks.
Thank you for showing this technique. You gave me the confidence to try this!
Debra Cupples my pleasure!! :) I love trying new things out :) have fun sewing!
Well wow!! I love the quilting you did. Really dressed Lola up a notch or two. Subbed. Lindy x
Just found your video. Thank you for showing me. You are cute to watch and was very helpful.
Amber Cloud awe, thank you! I'm glad you found my video helpful :)

Great tutorial. When will you do a video on the invisible connectors?
I’m working on a video for you today ❤️❤️ thank you!
did you use interfacing on the exterior fabric?
Thanks for the tips. NIce purse at the end. Can i use pellon fusible fleece? When i used sew-in foam it was hard to top stitch the zipper.
Where did you get the beautiful silver strap tips that you show at the end of your video?
Isn't the bobbin thread side better on the back of work, it's usually not as neat as a top stitch

Hello there! That’s not a silly question. I would still use foam to give it the puffy look :)
@@JakariDesigns thank you :)
Make more videos!1🤗
So the vynil doesn't shrink as you see it...
