Thank you, jens 🫡 I can't see why I should spend thousands of pounds on filtration.🤔 If what I've got as worked for 30 years 😊 Cheers my friend 😉🐟

Gary I will send you some copper tape with the mug, put it around the bottom of the feeder to prevent the slugs, Andy from Koi Pond Lifestyle had no success but the 3 Musketeers have, I don't think Andy let it oxidize give it a try nothing to lose, it was purchased off amazon as slug and snail prevention 👍🙏

Cheers buddy I will try it and give a update on it 👍 A bit of a messy video but I would like people try the hobby. They don't need a £1,500 filter system. Cheers Craig my friend 👍 🐟

Gary I would go with making the ponds bigger rather than more smaller ponds. That way you will need less setups and have larger water bodies that won't suffer with things like temp changes and bio load. I would build the grow on out the back first, then setup a temp swimming pool for the bigger fish, then make the main pond larger into the 14ft one you planned to build and use some of the space to build yourself a proper filter house. The front I would make into one pond.

It's a bit hard to see what space you're playing with, but my idea would be to build the filter house where the pressure filter is big enough (large shed size) to fit a nexus 320 or drum filter in. It may mean losing some of the pond size as it is now, square it off then extend it into where you plan the new 14ft pond then you have a real good sized pond. If I knew the dimensions of that I could tell what the volume would be. I reckon it would be well over 20,000 litres, probably closer to 30,000. A grow on 3m×2m x1m deep would be 6000 litres. The front pond 4ft deep 6ft by 4ft around 1200 litres, 450-500 gallons. You could do the maths for both ideas then bring it up on GKP for advice on what filtration you would need, fibreglassing, box weld liners to give you an idea on costs etc.

Cheers, carl.😊I can say everything is under review. With fibreglass, i can isolate one pond from the other if I need to. Thank you my friend I will take that on board.🤔😃🐟

Hey, there's many ways and it depends on one's own progression and more than anything how much a hobby grabs you 😅. I tend to go in deep no matter what I do 😂. My main pond 10k litres cost about £1500 for materials but I built everything myself. This was 8 years ago. Cheers

Cheers Keith 👍 I do think it is one's own preference how we set up our own systems if it works how can anybody say it's wrong 🤔 Keep your videos coming my friend I do enjoy them🙂🐟
