World Refugee Day Chicago - June 18, 2024

This year’s World Refugee Day Chicago Advocacy Event was held on June 18, 2024 at Daley Plaza as an opportunity to highlight issues faced by the refugee community in Chicago and beyond. Featuring musical performances by Angel David Salas Marcano, and speeches by Beatriz Ponce de León, Chicago’s Deputy Mayor of Immigrant, Migrant, and Refugee Rights, Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth, 48th Ward Alderwoman, and others.
