- In this tutorial, I'll show you how to make your own ambient pads for your music using the free version of the Vital synthesizer.
Check out my music on your favorite streaming service: open.spotify.c... / idle-thoughts music.amazon.c... ...and of course, here on my RUclips channel.
This actually looks super easy to follow along to
That's the idea! I'm hoping to make it easier to get started and help people learn how to personalize it for their music.
very useful. Thanks for this.
Glad it was helpful!
It sounds very mysterious to me like if you are walking across a wood in the night. Nice and simple love it
Glad you enjoyed it! It's fun to make those kinds of sounds.
Great tutorial, looking forward to exploring more of your offerings. The length, pace, and level of explanation in this was just right.

Excellent tutorial. Great trick with the LFO mapped to the pitch, never thought about doing that before!!

Thank you for this, I'm new to music production and this was well scripted and easy to follow.

Really good brother :)

Fantastic! Thank you so much for your clear and helpful instructions. And, unlike other YT videos on the same subject, you managed to do it all in less than two hours! Bravo. I've subscribed.
I appreciate it! There's a place for longer videos, but for most tutorials, I'd rather watch a short video than a long one!
Excellent tutorial! Subscribed
Much appreciated!
Well-structured tutorial. Thanks man
Thanks! Glad it was helpful.
amazing work sir!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
PS - I’d love to learn more about using macros. I understand how you assigned them but how do you actually use them? Is it “live” manipulation by hand while recording?
There's a few ways you could use them. First, they're nice for "static" adjustment of the sound. For example you could load a preset and tweak it. You could also draw in some automation to "mechanically" adjust it over time. You can also record in automation by using a controller and your daw, but not in a live setting. And yeah, you can use it in a live setting where you map your controller sliders, knobs, etc to the macros and then "play" them. They're a great way to add expressiveness and individually to your music!
put the bunny back in the box
