Why you are not a part of Tim's creative team is beyond me. Your style is so creative, artistic and layered. What a great and unexpected idea. I bet photo paper sales are going up after this video. Looking forward to the Holtz team publicly recognizing your work 😍
Tim is doing without, by not having you on his design team. You are Brilliant, Luise. Thank you so much for all the time you put into these projects for us.
Please do not forget to show us the addition to your swatch booklets made out of photo paper. And I like the ideas of salvaging parts of the experimental results.
The results you come up with are mind blowing! I love that you are always experimenting and growing in your art, taking us with you. Pay attention #timholtz !
Who knew that this technique was a possibility? OmG how cool is this!! I always thought I had to keep the water away from the Matte photo paper and now I'm going nuts with my spritzer 🤪 thank you so much for your experiments that we all benefit from🥰😘
Well @timholtz what do you think. We Luise’s followers think you are missing out by not recognizing her unique talents. Great job Luise hugs from Canada 🇨🇦. Many blessings.
You have just solved my problem, I have wanted to stamp with oxides but didn’t want to seal them! Good thing is, I have the photo paper, yay! Thanks Luise, you are amazing!💕🇨🇦
In my opinion it is nice that you make also tutorials for "newbies" and you kindly explain even basic subjects in crafting to the audiense. Even if this video didnt turnout for everyone as WOW enlightening experience because they wold know this technique, they still might enjoy your outcome in artistic way, and follow what you working on this time. Thank you Luise, your content is amazing, and I believe we all love your tutorials, no matter how complex and renovating techniques you work on.
WOW!!! This is fantastic, thank you. I have the inks not the oxides, but makes me want to invest in more of the oxides. So what Phoenix said, you should be apart of the TH team.
This is so beautiful. I am home for 6 weeks, so hoping to catch up on my swatches. I really want to do that swatch box. Love watching your RUclipss while I am on the road. Hard to do in many places that had little or no wifi. Thanks as always!
This is a game changer. Thank you for the absolutely wonderful information! I love this photo paper for your pho botanicals, and now I see the implications for the stamping as well. Thank you.
How will I ever sleep now?! After a full day of crafting, I just watched this video at 9:30 pm. I had to jump back up and try it with what I had, glossy photo paper. And frayed burlap. I didn’t get the full distressed and rusty look of yours but it’s still gorgeous. I ordered the photo paper and some brushed corduroy. Thank you for the link! Can’t wait to create more. Like my grandfather used to say, I can sleep when I’m 😵…😂
These are absolutely beautiful! I tried doing some stamping ages ago with several Distress oxides & water to get a colour blend, using my gel plate as an ink pad & they looked incredible! But making it waterproof is 🤯
Oh, wow!!😱... Game changer!🤩I never knew this was possible. I only knew of the technique using Distress Oxides on glossy photo paper, then you wipe away the oxide/chalky stuff with a baby wipe, leaving the "brighter" color of the ink. But, this? This opens up a whole new world to me & my inkjet printer. Thank you so much, Luise! You had every reason to be excited, imo.💗💗💗
There you go again ... being amazing! I love watching you create and I love hearing you laugh! A new Luise video is always one of the highlights of my day. You are much appreciated. Thank you for sharing with us. 😄
Hello Luise, I love when you experiment, the results are always fabulous. I love using distress oxides and now I know they can be waterproof. Thank you so much 💜
Okay...I can't read 170 comments to find out if this works with ALL MATTE PHOTO PAPERS, because I'm pretty sure my printed digitals run when wet (on my good matte photo paper). Can anyone tell me? And I guess by the time I saw this video, you HAVE been added to his team of makers! CONGRATULATIONS 🎉❤
Oh! I love your swatches! I never thought about doing something like that! They are beautiful ❤❤ I would give just about anything to craft with you! I wish I could share a few things with you, but I don't want to add it in here, I guess I might have to start making videos! 😅 One thing I have done is similar to this... 😊 You always have wonderful ideas and videos ❤
😳 A~mazinggg!!! That's it...I'm on strike, not buying anymore Tim Holtz products until you are on his team!!! 🙅🏼♀️😂😂 You never cease to amaze me!! This, I have never seen before!!! Absolutely brilliant!!! Lucky for me I have this paper in my stash...only used it one time so thank you for helping me use it up!! ✌🏼🧡
@@luiseheinzl hehe well either way you are just amazing!! Your work is STUNNING, you have a brilliant mind and your talent is mind-blowing!! The cards you are making...I can see them in the stores in kits, so useful and another great idea you've had!!!
This is so awesome and that paper is ordered and I can’t wait to get it. I love not just that it’s waterproof but I love the color changes, the difference between the walnut stain on regular paper and the photo paper. Brilliant!
You are a true artist !!! Very good artist !!! I know what an artist is....my daughter is a very good artist with a good business...thank you..thank you..thank you !!!!💕
Amazing technique!! I ordered the paper which I love for printing digitals! Just now getting ready to try this technique and I wonder how I could use this with my distress oxide sprays? I bought some of these sprays and I don’t know what to do with them! Perhaps I could spray them onto my work mat and then tap the stamp into that ink and then stamp onto the photo paper. I’ll have to try. Thank you! For all the hints!!💕
I was wondering the same. Most of us would have to spill water on the paper or use it by accident thinking it was watercolour, but Luise is so cool at experimenting, that she probably did the “I wonder what will happen if I try this”
You are just amazing! And a delight to listen to. Ty ❤ I learned so much from you, and I know so many different things because you experiment. Happy accidents, right? Or not sometimes, but how else will you know. 😊
I can't say this enough.... You are AMAZING, AND a GENIUS! I paused your video so I could go order that photo paper before it's sold out! Tim Holtz and Ranger NEED you on their team! (You know all your viewers are rooting for that!) Thank you again for sharing your amazing talent with us!!
Why you are not a part of Tim's creative team is beyond me. Your style is so creative, artistic and layered. What a great and unexpected idea. I bet photo paper sales are going up after this video.

it is delightful how the oxide colours split by using more layers of water. three cheers for you! xxx

I've never seen photo paper that is matt & 2-sided! Very cool!!
I think it might be because the paper is also for brochures that might have literature on both sides.
This is so CRAZY GOOD!!! Love your creativity ❤ How in the world did you discover this technique?
I have absolutely no idea 😂
