Otmar must be laughing his butt off now😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fr
Shame he isn't back on the grid somewhere else though
Do you guys remember how Renault was doing OK until Carlos Ghosn got involved into the business of the team? If I remember correctly he ended up escaping Japan smuggled in a container 😂
Thank you for reminding me. 😅
In a suitcase.
How had I never heard this story before. Just looked it up! 🤯
@@NotApplicableF1 lol, it's what, 2018 news?
It was one big Get Smart like plot 😛
I just love it when the corporate board gets involved in the operations of, let's say, a racing team, and they have no idea of what they are doing, don't even know what they don't know.
Then fire everyone involved in the failure, except themselves. The unmitigated arrogance of these people. Gasly must be kicking himself for joining Alpine. Prost is vindicated.
Yeah it baffles me how much input they have despite never being at the races and actually understanding what's going on
What is Alpine not bad at:
•Worst livery.
•Overweight even when then they barely painted the car.
•Esteban Ocon as their driver.
•All their senior management or members leaving the team.
•Worst or slowest engine in the entire grid.
•And many more 💀💀💀.
•Honourable mention that they are French.
Ocon has been good and not involved with teammates much at all
@@aftergaming5966truly the Mother Teresa of motorsports
@@LuisoEsElSrLoboMahatma Gandhi of Motorsports I would say
@@aftergaming5966he is truly Cristiano Ronaldo of Motorsport racing.
Bro stfu- ocon is better than half of the grid.
chassis frequently fail the FIA crash test - it is pretty routine
true but teams usually have a work around that doesn't add an insane amount of weight to the ca
I’m an Ocon and Alpine fan so past few years been tragic to say the least and unfortunately I put blame 80% on Laurent Rossi as in 2021 when he let Marcin Budkowski run the team, they had stability. Marcin had direction and lead the group effectively. The drivers were working together and had promise but once 2022 rolled around you could tell the team was starting to get more toxic. Even Otmar made critical mistakes like letting Alonso AND Piastri go ( even the whole saga of Otmar questioning Piastri integrity). Only thing that can save the team is a Ross Brawn esque person who’ll give the higher ups a reality check and give EVERYONE the tools to succeed
...and Bruno Famin is NOT the one XD
As you said, the team is definitely spiralling at the moment and needs someone to at least stop he drop and level them out before they can build back up again.
Oh hi never met a Ocon Fan
I wouldn't be surprised if BWT also wants to leave.
Especially because a lot of the personnel they worked to make the sponsorship deal with have now left too
I bet Alonso is laughing his ass off at the state of Alpine!
Oscar is smirking.
Alonso sitting at home with all the trophies he picked up last season
He tried to warn them but they didnt wanna listen
And these people think Andretti doesn't bring any value to F1. Laughable.
"I'd love to hear your thoughts"
I dunno man. Spot on analysis, as always.
So anyway we're like 60 races in the 100 race plan or something?
so just before 2026 they will be winning races? 😯
20hp to 30 hp down and overweight is a bad season
Too much french in that team 🤷🏻♂️
They need some more Spanish or British people in there, they seem to produce the best results for some reason
When will alpine call Gunther lol at least it would be someone with insight into how the sport works. They already tried one team principal reject they might as well try it again never know they might get better if they had someone who knows f1 as the downfall was worse after they fired Otmar
Gunther at alpine would be a disaster... but great for content!
oh for sure it would be funny@@NotApplicableF1
Red bull got an engine freeze even though honda still kept making their engine and Renault got told to suck it up when asking for their own performance concessions
He is world champion he deserve it 🏎️
Saying they’ve stood still is almost too complementary. Their car is slower than last year’s car. They’ve actually gone backwards
F1 is definitely not most difficult sport to win. There is a cost cap so can all spend equal and only 10 teams. 10% chance of all equal. Once you are in f1 you are in! Other sports like football and EPL you have to first make it and the. Competed again 19 other teams who then some spend ungodly amount…or nfl or baseball, NBA all have 30+ teams
Robb: blah blah blah blattery blabs about F1.
Red Bull: *exists*
Kick out Renault, save Enstone
ocon is so washed that blown up the team
Just get bought by audi
