In forestry applications you can get log trailers with hydraulically driven wheels (Farmi, for example). Does anyone make forage carts like this? It seems like a cart with hydraulically driven wheels (or tracks) would make this operation go a bit more smoothly.
Also, if harvesting in dry conditions was an option, they'd be harvesting in dry conditions. Nobody farms in the mud just because they don't know any better, and nobody who doesn't run a forage operation is qualified to critique theirs. They certainly don't need "helpful suggestions" from RUclips "operators".
There definitely excist forage wagons with driven wheels, but then driven with the PTO. It's also possible to use crab steering. Search for "Loonbedrijf Reimink" here on youtube, and check out their DEWA forage wagons.

Captain Carter in nl it will some times rain a week straight and if you try harvesting after that It would be even worse so we are always watching the weather forecast and if it prodicis rain it has to be harvested as fast as possible

+Maloy7800 Very late reply, but if you are still curious.. It is being used to pull the tractors free when they get bogged in the mud.. The larger surface area of it stops it sinking.. As you can see at 4:04
