Brings back memories, worked on a Apt complex near Frankfurt, which is just north, salmon fishing on the lake, had fun but homesick also lol

Camped there with my daughter a few times from 2004 to 2007. Awesome campground. Big campsites. Lovely beach. Trails galore. Two of the four loops have flush toilets (but no showers, unfortunately). The store at the corner of the main road where it meets the road to the campground has showers to use for a fee-- at least it did back in '07.

Enjoyed the video as usual! Thank you. This looks like a campground I'd love to stay in...so spacious! Looks like an acre of land between each site... Looking forward to the lighthouse video.

I had to look twice when I saw $32 on the reservation site. It's a nice one!

I live on the Wisconsin side almost straight across the lake. Nice campground, my favorite time to camp is in the pre and post season. Thank you for sharing. Safe Travels.

Hope to record a few campgrounds in Wisconsin someday. I've been all over southwest WI but not much north or east of I-90.

@@CampgroundRecon far north hasthe Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest with many small primitive campgrounds, usually water and pit toilets. State campgrounds are all over, very scenic. Early Spring or Fall are best to avoid mosquitoes.

There is a trail but it goes over some tall dunes. If you are in the first loop, you can take the trail to the day use area. Dunes aren't quite as tall there.
