I don’t want to demotivate to any one but want to share my personal experience with my i20 petrol CNG I bought the car in 2017 and getting 11-12 kmpl avg milage ij petrol after 6month and 10000 km i choose the CNG and got the cng fitting 50-55k approx. It was fantastic in those days pickup was awesome and avg was 18-20km in cng (cng rate -42-45Delhi) But now i have driven my car 127000 km. Issue - 1. Pickup was finished 2. On 5 person and Ac ( pick-up chalange ) 3 . Few months back i went to himachal hills ( bhiya pahado pe to chad hi nahi rahi thi dar lag raha tha ki kahi fas na jau) 4. After coming back I went to 2-3 mechanic and everyone said your car is fine aisa hota hai. 5. Now i am thinking to sell my car and bought a new one with petrol or diesel only Jab tak cng 45-50 rs tak thi tab running cost petrol vs cng mai 4 times ka difference aata tha example- 5 kg cng -250 rs - 100 km 5 ltr petrol-450 rs - 60 km But ab koi fayada nahi hai better to choose good mileage car or go for Diesel if you are not living in metro cities..
Bhai. Get your spark Plugs changed. Also check ignition coil and plug wire voltage. Usually they demand service after this much running. Also get CNG advancer voltage checked. Your car seems to be normal. And loss of pickup is due to coil and sparking loss. It should be done in ₹10,000 max. Approx ₹0.10/km service cost.
You people don't service your car properly and blame cng for issues in car later. Spark plugs have to be changed every 10k kms in cng cars for optimal functioning and ignition coil have to be checked at every service, also car need to be driven 5kms on petrol in the morning before switching to cng and last 1km before parking.
