This game actually looks really cool. I like when games don't try really hard to scare you with spooky sounds and jump scares all the time. I wish there were optional things to collect to encourage exploration, because it seemed like there were some custom rooms that you could just miss like downstairs in the mall.

Backrooms was such a novel idea initially just this like endless office space you could stumble into on accident. Had this very familiar vibe to it, that level in the office oyu have no clue what is in, that room full of chairs that isnt used for anything at your university. The main danger was seemingly to get lost in this seemingly endless expanse of forgotten carpets and yellowed ceilings.... and then it got the scary face treatment where now there are monsters in there that are going to eat you and there is lore and merch for children, absolutely ruined by consumerism. I think this game did it well tho, I was expecting some generic monster chase game but you mostly just explored all these varied locations, pretty cool

my brain is deeply confused by the quality of the graphics.. why does everything look so real?? i feel like this shouldn't be this high quality somehow. is it even high quality? i can't tell
someone for sure pointed this out already but cats seem to eat grass instinctively for fibre and apparently it makes throwing up hair and bones of the critters they usually eat easier
I know I've commented it before but I love that you're a Hoosier because I saw the carousel and immediately though of the exact same one! This game is so neat looking and no joke I would love to explore a place like this!
This episode made my balls drop, start dribbling, hit a gaming winning buzzer beater 3 pointer and then got 1st round draft picked for the bulls and play with shaq. Im so proud of them 🥹
There *are* secret tunnels in the mall. Someone, not me, may have worked at a mall in Buffalo, NY and they might have, sometimes, left an old end-of-day doughnut or a bagel in that hallway for the rats that maybe sometimes lived in those hallways. Maybe some of those rats were later caught on security camera climbing all over that doughnut place and getting into the bread etc. Who can say?
if you're ever in Austin, Texas, I recommend going to the "The Capitol Grill" restaurant in the downstairs of the Capitol building, specifically for its backroom creepiness combined with republican creepiness (but the fried okra, mashed potatoes, and chicken fried steak still smack, yum!)
