Santa is so fun for kids. It’s part of the magic of being a kid. Looking back I don’t think of it as breaking trust, I think of it as my parents loved me so much they went above & beyond for it.
Same!
Ahhh I feel like Ri is growing up so fast. Can't believe she is walking! She is precious!! So glad you guys are feeling better!
I can’t believe Riella is one! 😭😍 She’s growing up so fast.. God bless y’all 🙏🏼♥️
Ri is walking!! Can’t believe she’s one already!!
Look at Ri being such a big girl walking!!! 🥹 glad y’all are on the mend feeling better! 🙏🏼
Santa is a childhood memory for young children that I had as a child and my children had . It’s a blessing that we hold dear until they are old enough to understand
Ri is walking!!👏🏼🎉 Happy Birthday, Sweet Girl!!😘🎉🎂🎈🥳🎁
RI IS WALKING!!! So happy of the current success God has blessed you guys with❤
❤im glad y’all are feelin a little better!❤
The portion of the video where Josh is half asleep TOOK. ME. OUT.
Happy 1st birthday to Ri! Love watching you guys and watching her grow 🎉
The fashion show was my fave part 😂 Happy Birthday Ri! Ri and my daughter are super close in age. We think we’re gonna treat Santa like any other character like Mickey Mouse or something like that!
Jesus loves you!😊❤
We did not do Santa with our girls and they still woke up with excitement in the morning on what the day would hold. We always do the Christmas story before any gifts are opened and to this day they look more forward to this then anything else. You can still do elf on a self without Santa. Love watching you all!!
To be honest Santa clause was such a part of my childhood and it made Christmas a little more imaginative and fun. Once I stopped believing in Santa Christmas was a little less exciting. There is nothing like watching the “Santa tracker” on the news and being so excited for Santa to come that you can barely sleep. I just think there is an age to “cut it off” so to say. I think you learn Santa is not real by being around kids your own age in school and it happens naturally.
I’ve never lied about or was lied to about Christmas. My loving family gave me gifts that they worked for. I appreciated it. My children knew where their gifts came from as well. We also participate in giving to others, so they know where the meaningful gifts come from and are going. The spirit of giving is/was alive and well.❤
Happy belated birthday little miss Ri!! 🎉 I'm glad you're all feeling better, stay safe* 😇
RI IS WALKING!!! YAY GO RI! Those pants Ri had on were too cute! I’m sorry y’all got hit with the Vid and had to cancel Ri’s Birthday Party. Glad y’all are better now! Like y’all said it still was a good day, and from the footage taken I agree!!! Y’all always know how to keep it positive!!! The new line of gear for Yair is nice! I love you guys soooo much!!!!! 💚
Ri is walking! She growing up so fast!
for my Christmas tradition, my parents emphasized one big gift as the gift Santa gave me, in my family room it there was a specific location for each me and my siblings dedicated for the Santa gift. That was like the first present you would see walking in, and it typically wasn't wrapped and under the tree like the rest of the presents I got. Hope you guys are feeling better, and are having a merry holiday season!!
Happy belated birthday Ri 🤍🎈
My husband didn’t grow up believing in Santa and I believed for two seconds until I started asking way too many questions about how Santa creeps in the chimney we didn’t have 😂. It became pretty clear to me that Santa was not real. So we definitely are not doing the Santa thing with our kiddos. My daughter, 4, walks around letting people know Santa isn’t real 🫠😬 LOL
Why does Savannah give the vibes of the mom in “This is Us,” like I just love Sav and the way Ri hugged her after singing, it was the sweetest thing😢❤
I love your family so much! Watching Ri grow and you two grow as parents is so special. I hope to create such a god-fearing family like yours one day! Happy bday RI RI XXX
My memory that I have as a child is not wanting to go to sleep. My aunt took me upstairs and tried to lay me down. She was talking about Santa and his reindeer. Then I heard sleigh bells!!! I was sooo excited. Now being a 37 yr old I know it was my grandma downstairs, but I wouldn't have changed a thing. I love them that much more for doing that for me.
The hug she gave you when you were singing! What a sweetheart 🥰
Can't believe Ri is one!!!🎂🎂🎂she is just so adorable especially in those trousers and hat!!❤Glad you are all well now!!🥰xxxx
Happy Birthday Riella may you be blessed with many more years to come. ❤🎉🎉
Think about Santa as a good positive thing for the kids. Let them enjoy Santa, the suprise, the joy. As I child I loved the suprise of getting a gift that wasn't from a parent. That gift that a stranger who knew what I wanted and was so kind to bring it to my house and put it under the tree made me happy. Whether Santa is real or not is irrelevant because the things that Santa represents are very real. So, as long as you stick to those things, when the child does learn that the Santa person isn't real they won't be angry or think you lied to them because the moments of joy and happiness can be focused on and will always remain. Hopefully this makes some sense to you.
Never did the Santa thing as a kid or as an adult. My mom said she didn’t want to lie to us but if we wanted to pretend that was fine. She and my dad bought those gifts. Lol. We didn’t tell our kids that there was a Santa because we didn’t want to lie to them either. Not to mention we wanted to highlight the true reason for the season- Jesus. Riella is walking- the fun, or should I say- the chase has begun. 😂. That frozen rice from Trader Joes is good. Their vegan tziki is so good. And of course their three layer hummus.
I'm glad you're feeling better. Happy Birthday Ri! Love you guys ♥️
Glad y’all are feeling better! Happy birthday Ri!!!
That fashion show part was hilarious. Josh’s voice + Savannah modeling the new Yair League stuff 😂🤣 I can’t with y’all! 😭☠️
So sorry that your guys were unwell, ugh…
Happy, joy that you’re on the mend, however…
Yippee 🎉 !!!
For my 4 year old, presents get opened Christmas eve with all the good stuff coming from us, the parents. Christmas day Santa brings 1 gift. I'm not giving him credit for the expensive most wanted items 😅 we also do elf on the shelf who visits Santa every night to let him know if the kids are naughty or nice every day.
I hope ya'll get better soon. Love from Cape Town, South Africa ❤️
Happiest of all birthdays sweet Riella!! You are so loved! I cannot believe that she is 1! Josh and Sav, you are the best parents 🤍

For the Santa thing I just feel that we should let our kids enjoy being kids because the world is just so crazy anymore let them enjoy the little things while they can! Happy Birthday Ri.
Great editing Josh! Love it ❤❤
okay thing toy is a throwback from my childhood oh my gosh! at 6:00 also RI IS WALKING!!! may Lord bless you all!
Such a beautiful family!
as someone who grew up celebrating Hanukkah, I never understood how other kids my age genuinely believed in Santa Claus, or how groundbreaking it was for every kid when they found out he was fake. It’s really interesting bc Santa Claus means absolutely nothing to me, but for a lot of people/families they take it so seriously! But I did believe in the tooth fairy for a brief period however older siblings squashed that real quick 💀
Happy Birthday RiRi! May God continue to bless you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️💕🎁🎂
Ri looks so cute
GLAD YALL FEELIN BETTER! I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR VIDEOS EVERY WEEK 💜 ALL THE WAY FROM WINDSOR, ONTARIO CANADA 🇨🇦💜💕

happy birthday ri!! love you loads! xoxo
RI IS WALKING!! ❤
Happy Birthday princesse 🎂wishing many sweet birthdays 🎉 🎉
As kids we believed in Santa and when we got to an age when we didn’t anymore it came very naturally and it didn’t effect our relationship with our parents at all. We didn’t think our parents had been lying to us or anything of that nature. It’s different for everyone but I’m thankful for those days, it made Christmas even more exciting to know Santa was coming 🎄🎅
Love ya'll though, and your adults so it's whatever you want.
I only do one gift from Santa and I do elf on the shelf. It’s important for our kids to understand that their parents work hard to get them Christmas gifts.
I still have my Yair League sweatshirt from last summer. I wear that thing at least once a week. You know I’m getting something else. Please keep your merch going. I love it ❤❤❤
With my kids I wanted them to know that their parents made the sacrifices to go to work and earn money to buy the gifts to make Christmas happen. Sorry Santa was not the reason for the season. Be blessed. Great content.
My daughter is turning 2 in February and we have also been talking about how to approach Santa. My husband and I have come to the conclusion that we want to make Christmas all about Jesus while respecting others’ decisions to do Santa. We will be teaching our daughter and future kids that Santa is a character just like in stories, that other children believe in for the holidays and that we need to respect that without spoiling it for the other kids. It’s all fun for everyone. In our home, we will be teaching our kids and focusing on the fact that God has blessed us with His ultimate gift which is Jesus, and that He has also blessed us financially allowing us to buy their gifts while celebrating freedom in Jesus Christ. We will also be giving back with what God blesses us with to teach our kids that not all homes look like this during the holidays and we are called to help those going through a tough season. This way we aren’t lying to them but creating awareness and a giving spirit rather than focusing on what we or other kids receive.
This is our personal conviction with the Lord but wanted to share 💕
Hope she had a happy birthday! Glad ya'll are feeling better! SO excited for the new Yair drop!
Ri is walkingggg🥲🤗🥰🫶🏿 !!!
"RI IS WALKING!"
RI IS WALKING!!!!
It feels like it was just yesterday that Sav was pregnant with Ri and exited that her bump was growing bigger…and now Ri is literally 1 year old…wow time really flies…may God bless u guys and Ri and Rue and Nash…I love yall ❤❤❤
That's so cool how fast kids grow 😃 my daughter travels by rolling. She will crawl so soon 😃❤
Awesome 😊
Get well soon
For me Santa is like the idea of how we should be everyday as a believer in God. it’s the idea of giving for the sake of giving. you’re santa, & santa gifts tend to be what the kid wants the absolute most, but you’re not getting the credit or the thank yous of giving them that gift. because that’s not what it’s about. it’s about giving without needing credit because of what that giving means. & although you bought the gift, it’s because of God that you have it so the glory doesn’t belong to you anyways if that makes sense. when you eventually tell your kids you can then bring them into it as a part of it of selfless giving & bringing that aspect into others lives that may not have it.
I can’t believe Ri is walking 🥹🥹
Ri is walking
Gotta be honest, Santa was a bad experience for me. It did negatively affect my relationship with my parents and siblings when I was a kid. I think it is more than fair to have concerns around teaching your kids about Santa. I do not have kids, but when I was a kid, I think I would have preferred to be able to just enjoy Santa as a fictional character in a holiday story, in the same way that I was able to enjoy my favorite TV characters in cartoons or movies. It's a surprisingly tough decision, and every human will have a different experience, but I think it is great that y'all are considering her feelings in this! A1 parenting right there.
Sav’s hair in the light 😍. That golden brown!!!❤
I’ve been thinking about the Santa traditions a lot. I wasn’t upset about it as a kid I just ran with it so my siblings got to enjoy it too. But I think we should use it as a story not as “he’s real”. I just don’t want to tell my kids they have to be good all December to be able to get presents. It’s a bribe for good behavior. And “Santa is always watching” is kinda creepy.
Still can put our cookies and carrots but have them understand Santa is a fun story and Christmas magic is real when you’re with the people you love♥️
I have 2 granddaughters who recently turned 4 and I remember when they first started to walk. Time does fly by, hard to believe that in 2023 their gonna be 5.
I think yall should approach the Santa topic however works best for your house but I will say that Sav brought up a good point on when Ri goes to school and sees that she is the only one that doesn't get presents from Santa. Small Kids don't understand the concept that oh mommy and daddy gave me what I wanted, they just see that they are missing out from what other kids experience. Plus everyone has a "How did you find out Santa wasn't real story" Its kinda a nice thing you can always reminiscence, look back on and a story to pass on to others
RI IS WALKING 😢❤
I grew up knowing people believed in Santa but my mom told us he was a spirit and associated it with Saint Nicolas. My understanding was my parents bought our gifts. So I never knew Santa as a “real” person. Probably helped that we didn’t have a chimney or fireplace living in the Bahamas 😂
RI IS WALKING!!! how is she already ONE?! also i'm 5'1 toooo
My kids enjoyed their Santa experience and often speak of finding the presents. and the hunting for presents . I wrapped presents from me and I put Santa’s presents unwrapped under the tree. So at a certain age the presents disappeared and Santa left stocking stuffers. Because the kids know. My kids knew the Santa notes were from me. They knew i ate the cookies . But listening to my grown children replay Christmas they say it was a magical time and don’t regret and think me for doing all I did and feel sad for those whose parents that enjoyed it and get the conspiracy theories and rip it from their kids, do what’s you feel is right for your family. My kids turn of great.
It’s Ri’s pants for me 😍😍😍😍
Love ya❤️❤️
I love the magic of Santa, I did as a kid. I love it now, there’s something about the thought of Santa that’s so nostalgic and magical.
While our kids are little the big gifts are from Santa, as they get older and actually go see Santa, the Santa gift will be what they specifically ask for from him.
That’s how my parents did it, and I love that idea. Also I never ever remember talking to my friends / my friends talking to me about what Santa got us? I just never remember that kind of discussion.
I found out Santa wasn’t real right before Christmas break in 3rd or 4th grade and I definitely was not mad at my parents, we just thought it was a funny joke. I never thought they lied to me, my dad has always been a studier of the Bible and I believed what he told me about Jesus and god. I still do. It didn’t make me believe less or more in Jesus, it stayed the same
So that’s my take on the whole situation lol
Yes you have to have a santa gift😁
👏👏👏👏👏 to Ri!! Hope you all are getting well.
We didn’t do Santa and I’m so glad we didn’t bc some of our friends kids did and they regretted it !! And our kids didn’t feel left out at school :) obviously it’s yalls decision but that’s my experience!! ❤️
Santa doesn’t bring expensive gifts. He brings one want and one need and one outfit. And all other gifts are from family or mama 🙂
I agree scratch Santa, idk how I feel about my child believing in Santa on the fence about it.
Not Ri being a grown woman 😩 and I’m glad y’all are feeling better that vid is taking people out. And as a teacher I can say that Santa Claus is dangerous I’ve had students tell other students Santa isn’t real and it’s pretty traumatizing 🙃 and you guys should look into the shepherd on the search it’s cute.
Santa’s magical as a child you can’t take that magic away from her. Plus as she gets older you don’t want her telling all her friend Santa’s not real or feeling felt out cuz all the other kids have Santa bringing them gifts but not her
7:20 😂😂😂
"Ri is walking" Whoop whoop! You tell Ri aunty Christal says congratulations 👏 ! Another milestone down and many many more to come. For Santa I felt like Josh but a wise person told me let kids be kids. My son at about 5 years was told by his cousin that Santa is not real and I just ignored it and monitored his emotion towards it. All though at now 7 years old he now knows Santa is not real and so I no longer say Santa got him anything at Christmas but he loves the movies and stories of Santa. I think its important to not blow Santa or any other non realistic worldly things out of proportion but just making it fun and let it die when the children gets suspicious and ask questions so than we don't seem like the Liar. I let my son watch Santa movies and as Santa start looking like he is all seeing and knowing I had to quickly divide the lie from the truth by having a talk with my son ( putting it to perspective that it is just a movie). This was this year as he turned 7 as he is more understanding about who Jesus is and so it made it easy. I hope this helps 😃
