    Jason, it is probably better to say it this way: "ME puedes ayudar?", it implies a more personal way to ask for help. "Puedes ayudar" is correct, but less personalized. I enjoy your videos so much!

    • @TrailguidePictures
      @TrailguidePictures  Год назад +1

      Not for this video because Puedes ayudar will apply regardless of the situation. If a person is asking for help for themself or us, him/her, them, they can still use puedes ayudar and the simple phrase is correct without learning anymore spanish. If the person wants to learn more, then they already have a building block of two verbs.
      Thanks for the compliment and for watching.

    Courtesy is essential and part of our culture, without courtesy you are not welcome anywhere, this means asking for things please and saying thank you at all times, as well as apologizing if you make a mistake... it is basic in all of Mexico, it is part of the education received at home, as well as respect and obedience to parents and grandparents!

    "... mutual understanding that we are capable of as humans". I can't agree with you more on this statement! Thanks for another helpful and informational video. I'm visiting Cabo San Lucas in three weeks. Whatever I've gained watching your videos on Mexico so far will come in handy, I'm sure!

      There's no reason to make learning complicated for people learning it, this video is for people who don't know any spanish. Keep it simple and provide some building blocks to learn from.

    Hi, Jason!
    I have a little question to you. Before departing Canada have you ever considered Australia as an option? If so, why have you preferred Mexico over Australia?

    • @TrailguidePictures
      @TrailguidePictures  Год назад +2

      I love Australia but it’s much more difficult to move to. It was locked up from covid. Also the travel time to visit Canada is rough.
