Atari 50 really sets a good standard for game compilations (especially in a time were companies are more willing to just piece games out individually). My only complaint would be the lack of games and minimal coverage for the Atari ST computer line, if they are releasing more updates for Atari 50 I hope they can add an interview about them and some games.

One of my guilty-pleasure Jaguar games I would like to try laughs and entertainment is (dare I say it) Kasumi Ninja. They could add it, but it would also void the T rating for this collection.
I would honestly be willing to pay for more games from every system they have here. 5200 games would be my biggest desire. Check out Atari's various social media accounts and put that request in the comments, they do listen and respond.
That is awesome to hear! I really hope they can make a deal with Activision (I guess that would be MS now) and get the old Activision titles in there. That would be amazing! Even if it were to be a paid dlc, I'd be happy!
I hear that. At where the economy is at, I'm kind of stuck with what I have right now. I can't afford more games and definitely not more systems. They try to tell us things are good, but man, we're seriously in a recession headed for depression.
Bowling was one of my favs still have mine CIB along with my atari 2600. somehow I managed to save 50 2600 games all in box LOL rest are loose but still play my atari 2600 atleast once a week. My collection is over 150 games LOL I need help...
@@JGKingCrusher lol thanks I also have an atari 5200 which is way underrated. LOL I have both the 4 and 2 joystick versions in box LOL I am a major atari guy grew up on he 2600. I love your passion for the system and if you ever need a copy of a game let me know I have copies.. just ask and they are yours for free.
@@omegasupreme1970 Thanks! Did you watch all the videos on the Atari 50th title? There's one on the 5200 and I guess it was all the programmers favorite. They loved it and begged them to allow it to be backwards compatible, the execs said no... then three weeks before release they came back and said "can we make it backwards compatible?" lol
@@JGKingCrusher yes and later they released an adaptor for it. What killed the 5200 was the controller. It was ahead of its time and not being self centering also was a major problem. I gave a friend of mine in engaland a 5200 i repaired and got working for free because he was a big Atari fan and it was never released there
Sadly the next step for the 2600 games is the Activision games. Hopefully they can make a deal with Microsoft to get those titles added on. There's a lot of deals that have to be made to get the 3rd party titles (for all the systems) on a compilation like this. Keep your fingers crossed!

Can’t believe Bowling and Maze Craze weren’t part of the original lineup. Bowling is easily a top-10 for me. Wish they’d add more 5200 titles.
The 5200 was easily my favorite Atari system! And I guess I'm an oddity, but I absolutely loved the controller. Wish it had held together better.

Frankly, there are SO many great cartridges on the 5200. I’m biased, that’s for sure, it’s my favorite console.

Technically, Warbirds was already there. The day one patch removed it because the Accolade/GT Interactive/MicroProse deal did not go through in time.

Oh man, I had Double Dunk, it was one of the last few games I bought new in the box on clearance. It was unplayable!
