I love the black patterned lily silk blouse Deirdre…..lots of great ideas and food for thought.
I have to adapt the looks because I’m 5ft tall and size 12 bottom 14 top so tucking things in isn’t a good look on me, but I wear similar to what you’ve shown and leave things untucked and sometimes, if it suits the outfit I’ll use a belt. It’s a matter of getting a good look for your figure. Your tiny figure can carry anything, but your wonderful ideas can be adapted. Thank you so enjoyed it all 🌸

That's so sweet of you, Melanie. I am a lot better than before but, to be honest, I'm starting to get stressed again - probably due to overwork and the run up to the festive season which is always busy. I was talking to a friend today (medically trained) and she said that it's very common for menopausal women to become much more anxious and stressed very easily. I must try to calm myself more! Lots of love. XX

Yes , I agree with your friend, Fortunate for me I am only affected by spontaneous stress occasions that turn into a instant hot flash. Even though I feel , that I am through menopause 100percent!
And Visualizing perfection in everything you do, I can see how it would be quite hard for you to not want to give 100 percent .

I’ve absolutely been captivated by your channel. I’ve loved all of these looks for years, but never has anyone explained how to pair your clothing. After all these years I finally get it. Instead of searching for a particular look I’ve seen in a magazine, or on women I’ve seen in Paris. I finally understand how I can pair these pieces with numerous pieces other pieces in my closet. The rule of 3, and finally get it. Wearing shades of neutral colors I finally understand. Trust me, this isn’t a talent we’ve all been blessed with.
Reminds me of trying to understand calculus in school, then one day a tutor explained the rules of calculus in a way that I understood, and I wanted to do a happy dance!

Loved the video and I love classic pieces of clothing. I find a problem with jewellery as I wear glasses all the time and keep wearing the same gold studs and same gold chain when I put anything else on I just feel over done I have tried different things but feel I end up looking like a Christmas tree. Can you offer any advice to ladies like myself.
Hi Janet. I think if you have found your "go-to" jewellery of choice and you feel comfortable wearing it, then there's no reason to change. If, on the other hand, you want to alter your look a little, how about using the same concept of jewellery (e.g. your gold stud earrings) but elevating the style a little - perhaps upgrade to some different styles of stud- shaped earrings - or very small hoops. XX

I probably do look “too smart and classic”, but I don’t care, I’m old and I’ve always hated wearing jeans - the easiest way to dress things down. I finally found my first pair that fits, they’re men’s, but I really wanted white ones, maybe in the spring.

You can find similar items at any store from Walmart to Kohls, etc…they will not be super quality but you won’t be as worried when holding the baby or getting stains from anything….take the ideas and find your own look and budget.

Deirdre, I am loving your videos. Here's perhaps a crazy question, but I have minimal closet space (7') for hanging items: What is a reasonable number of dresses, shirts, blazers, trousers, skirts? I do go for mix & match where possible.
I love silk shirts, but alas, I'm busty, and they tend to gape around the bust area. They just don't seem to sit right on me. I wish they would, as they look fabulous!!
I totally appreciate your point as I tend to have the same problem myself. As a solution, I often size up one size which sorts out the problem! XX
Fashion tape can help with the gaping between buttons in the chest area. I'm a 38D myself and short-waisted.

Personally I prefer you to ‘like’ an outfit without feeling you are being paid to do so. I certainly won’t pay £100+ for a blouse, cardigan or trousers, no matter how good you might look in them,knowing that you are being paid to sell them to me. Not one for me, sorry.
HI Margaret, I totally get what you are saying and I agree. What I will say is that I NEVER promote anything that I don't use and I don't love. So, anything that you see me talking about which may give me a small commission is also something that I truly believe in and use regularly. I selected the items that you see here because I loved them and they all looked good when they arrived and are now part of my wardrobe. I want to share that with you. As a fashion influencer, I receive emails every day asking me to promote products and I turn them down 9 times out of 10 as I don't love the product.
