Your contribution to music teaching is commendable. No unnecessary talking, just text and practical examples. Thank you very much for everything you do.
Hi everybody, here is my new lesson about memorizing jazz licks. This will help you to improve your playing. If you need more original jazz licks from the great players like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Chet Baker , Wes Montgomery and many more, you find 120 licks in my book available on my website. The tabs from this lesson are from now on included in my book "120 Jazz Licks". You find only II-V-I licks in the keys of F minor or F major in the book. All the best, keep on practicing and stay healthy, Achim Kohl
7:26. What a relief. I've been struggling with expanding my jazz vocab and assumed everyone else was able to pick up and memorize a lick in one or two practice sessions.
After spending literally years faffing around on guitars and thinking that the pentatonic scale was the be all and end all, I've now got into jazz guitar. I'm a rank beginner but this and the other videos are so clear and easy to follow. Excellent stuff
Great lesson. i've been following you for a while and i think your approach is the best....keep them coming. btw.....i would like to see more blues lessons from you....your 2 blues packages are excellent. ....one thing instructors are failing at in yt is teaching the most important blues rhythms. take care
Achim, I have been playing guitar for many years. As I aspire to grow as a jazz player, is there as way to purchase your products using American currency?
Jay, you can easily change the currency in the shop to USD: click on the english flag on top of the page, then go to „change currency“, change currency to „USD“, then click on „save“, now the whole shop is in USD. Best regards from Mainz, Germany
I just want to make sure that I am downloading from the correct link. I don’t have CD player and need a direct PDF and mp3 download. Is this available?

Hi Achim, I have a question. Do you use the CAGED system to move around the fretboard? If not, what do you recommend for placing the notes?
Yes, something like that, it helps a lot for your orientation on the fingerboard
