Western Workhorses: Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway - Cotswold Festival of Steam

After winning the 2023 award for 'Best Event in the Cotswolds', a short trip to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, for the Cotswold Festival of Steam. This year, it featured a Great Western Railway ‘Western Workhorses’ theme and line-up. Visitors included: 6880 Betton Grange, 2999 Lady of Legend & GWR Mogul 9351. They ran alongside GWSR residents; GWR 2807, 7820 Dinmore Manor, 7903 Formarke Hall & 35006 Peninsular & Oriental S. N. Co. Relaid on what was once the mainline between Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon, the GWSR cuts along the west side of the Cotswolds. It features massive embankments, deep cuttings, pretty stations, and Stanway Viaduct, but very little in elevation change. Filmed on Saturday May 25th, the weather was excellent.
