Same as you! I bought the Lanshan 1 a while back, set it up in my garden, and immediately sold it on because of the lack of internal space (I'm only 5'10"). To be fair, there's now a longer version available. Then I got the Pro and I've been very pleased with it. Space is adequate for one, the materials and workmanship are excellent, it's a doddle to pitch, and the low weight is the real winner. Condensation is no worse than what you'd expect from this size and design of tent. I see you've done a 'mod' on the inside to raise the rear bathtub edge relative to the mesh drainage strip - not unlike the Six Moon Designs Lunar Solo which this Lanshan Pro 1 is a virtual copy of! I have lengthened the mid-panel guy to allow me to use my other hiking pole as a pull-out, thereby creating some extra headroom. Also I use the apex loop as an attachment point for an extra guy running parallel to the door guy for extra stability. Even so, I consider the Lanshan 1 Pro a fairer-weather tent and I use a different tent in more challenging conditions. BTW Lanshan is not a brand, it's the model name. The brand is 3F UL (sometimes marketed as Flame's Creed, but it's the same maker).
Hey thanks for watching. Everybody says that the Lanshan One Pro is a copy of the Lunar solo. I personally have not had an opportunity to try that tent yet, but everybody says great things about it. Good eye on the mod! I may try the other two you mentioned, especially for a little extra headspace.
Great review! I personally have Purchased way too much gear, but I will say that this is so close to the six moon design lunar solo. Which was one of my first ultralight backpacking tents THAT I LOVED! Over the years, I have transitioned from hammock, to one person tent, to tarp tent camping and even with all of the DFC crazy UL gear out there I’m a huge fan of sixmoon designs these days I sport, a Deschutes tarp, which is so close to this & couldn’t love it more.
Good review and greetings from England. I've got the 1Pro and for the money l can't complain. Some say condensation is a problem, but provided you pitch the tent with several inches clearance from the ground, it's liveable. I also keep a cloth handy too wipe off any moisture as you see it. Agree with you point about the pegs l would upgrade.
That was 10/10 review. Beautiful scenery. When I go to ground I have a regular lanshan 1 that's been great to me for about 40 to 50 nights so far. This really tempts to try the pro out.
great video! the Lanshan 2 Pro is what i have and the room is definitely worth the extra weight. while seam sealing sucks, once it's done right it holds up in the rain beautifully..
Great review. Thanks. Have you done any of the mods that are kicking around RUclips? I have replaced the rams head hook, and separated the front guy which now connects to the air vent and the top point. The vestibule I use elasticated long lines to its own peg, easier in and out, and higher pitch options. Plus have swapped out the bathtub lines with stretch so less chance of tearing or pulling out a peg. Overall with the mods it's helped a lot, I tend to pitch high (125cm pole) to help clear condensation and these mods helped with that. Plus you can still Barton down the hatches if the weather turns.
I have done those types of mods to my Lanshan 2, but as of yet I have not done it to my new Lanshan 1 Pro. I'll get around to it eventually though. Thanks for commenting and thanks for watching 🙂.
I have a couple first gen Lanshan 2s and really, really like them. If I factor in the cost, I love them. Really with this was doubled wall though, not going to lie.
Yeah I have no doubt about that that's why I gave it to my sister I think she's 5'7". I really did like the design of the original. It was just too short for me. Thanks for commenting and thanks for watching 🙂

Lol. I have a video on that as well.
Great review
We have sold thousands of lanshan series, the excellent price and quality are all compliments
I am 5'9" and the Lanshan 1 works great for me.

You just saved me with the wp sending it back
Glad to help. That's a very common mistake to make, and I don't feel like they make it very clear. Thanks for commenting and thanks for watching 🙂
Nice review
In reality, all tents are made in the same factory complex, all Soylent products start out beige.
Yes, the similar appearance is produced by 3F
