The youths want time to start to move and fly basically to just get it over with and grow up, but those who have already got there wish for it to slow down and stop, or often to go back to the time they wish it sped up rather than living this way where the time goes but you have no control.
C'mon now. It's fine if you don't like it, but dissonance isn't "wrong notes" - it's a perfectly available musical choice. Like, I heard of 'Extra Virgin Olive Oil' flavored ice cream once. It sounds unpleasant to me -- but it's not "wrong." I don't want it but maybe some people would. Same thing here.

@@CaptainDV Your rules aren't the only standard. And dissonance literally means 'a combination of sounds that aren't pleasant together' -- if you 'love it' -- it's not really dissonant. What you're claiming -- it's like looking at Picasso's "old guitarist'" and complaining he used the 'wrong colors' -- and that you're fit to judge it because you have also made several paintings in different mediums and styles. How can Picasso's experiments and explorations be 'wrong' -- he was just trying stuff out. Again, i'm not telling anyone that they have to like it. But I do believe that we can't claim that things are somehow invalid or wrong just because they don't suit our preferences (or the preferences that we've been taught are 'universally' accepted).
