God what a difference hearing Phil Rudd play Thunderstruck!! No disrespect to their other drummers but this track alone shows why he is the only ACDC drummer

@@ดีดีดี-ล9ธ neither is better than the other… it’s more about style… Chris Slade is on top of the beat and is a machine(in a very good way) he drives the band like a high performance engine. Phil Rudd sits more behind the beat and drives in a different way. Credit must be given equally to both.

True, the 70's and early 80's gave us their best albums. But the Ballbreaker tour and the Black Ice tour were PEAK live AC/DC.
03 meses despues de ese concierto en Madrid, yo los pude ver en Chile el 22/10/1996, increible que ya hayan pasado 27 años...yo tan solo tenia 22 años en ese concierto...era un joven con harto pelo, ahora estoy calvo jaja...pero ACDC sigue en mi corazon y piel, ya que tengo tatuajes de ACDC...he ido a muchos conciertos, este para mi fue el mejor....

Have VHS, DVD, and all the ticket stubs from this tour. Saw them 4x on this Ballbreaker Tour. Amazing concerts. The energy. The best. AC/DC 24/7/365. Forever.
My instructor for live sound saw them on this tour, he said it was arguably the loudest show he’s ever been to!!
All the party with my friends memories with this one. "Let There Be Rock," on this one completely and totally smokes! Burns! Angus the RiffMaster Extraordinaire, goes all over the arena. It's nuts!! I saw AC/DC (Bon Scott), Frank Marino, Foreigner and Aerosmith headlined, back in the day. 1979, Chicago, Cominsky Park, Summer Jam 2.

I have been to quite many AC/DC concerts in my life around the world, but nothing, nothing 'll explain my experience back at Pacaembu Concert in October 12th 1996 in São Paulo (Brasil).... to describe in a few words, it was outstanding and still now a days in my mind, almost 30 years ago!! By the way, my precious dog, rescued from the streets, it's called under the name "Angus" with all respect! Memories from a unique and single night never forgotten in my mind! What can i say, "rock and roll" is "backing in black" with "moneytalks" and "shooking" all with a "highway" to "thunderstruck" "riding" on "tnt"! One of these days, kkkk

Then falling onto drugs due to high amounts of pressure that deteriorate your mental health, presenting yourself at various places around the world reaching insane levels of exhaustion and having a good fanbase if you do enough stuff to not fall in the hole of irrelevance

Although I liked the powerful sound on the Razor's Edge tour, it was great to hear them back to a more natural AC/DC sound in this era.
They didn't swing on the razors edge tour chris has a very robotic straight time feel and the tempos were always rushed and Angus was messing around with Mesa boogie heads with a higher gain structure, overall it wasn't as good of a tone as this is, pure Marshal clean cranked up til the tubes scream a bit is acdcs sound with phil mal and clif locked and swinging
