- A briefly supercellular thunderstorm produces a barrage of dozens of close and brilliant lightning strikes over the Mississippi River at Alton, Illinois, north of St. Louis. This is incredible footage and amazing quality
Thats one pist off Thunderstorm! And that bridge was getting hammered! Nice video!!
Heart-stopping! We’ve had lots of unusual lightning in SD the last few nights, too.
that was an excellent lightning video
Amazing how hot a bolt like that is to be able to cause cool air to expand so violently and create the booming. While we have summer storms in the northeast it is very rare to see a storm of such intensity.
this was super awesome sick bolts and nice rotation u killed it
Great Pictures 👏 greetings from dry germany ! Love your Videos, always amazing
Wow...I was hanging under the Clark bridge watching this storm, it was kicking hard. Great work Dan!

Magnifique les impacts de foudre !
That was impressive.
Why am I not surprised your car has tons of hail damage?
Great viideo💯👍
Do you have more thunder & lightning videos in stereo?
That storm is dropping microbursts one after another.
Fantastic lightning and even looks like a wet microburst near the end of this video!
What camera ?
Lots of CG's. Looks like a wall cloud and it's rotating. Could produce a tornado.
Saw the hail divits on the roof of your car. Is this your TIV? Low budget, but it gets the job done. Great footage.
What type of camera did you use to record this lightning
Some of the lightning strikes are darker than the sky.
Wow,That’s a lot like what Florida gets everyday
OMG! 2:50!
WE'VE HAD LIGHTENING BUT THE THUDER WAS TOO FAR AWAY TO BE HEARD, AND NO RAIN FELL EITHER OTHER THAN A DROP
first it is named upward streamer not upward leader leader comes from above from the clouds streamers always from the ground stepped leaders so the full name are negativ charged upward streamers positive in rare cases it is opposite this rare cases are positiv lightning discharges
