Hey man! Very cool video edit and walkthrough how to change the oil of the CB 650 R. Just bought mine. It will be very useful in the future to do it myself. Please share anything else about this bike. I'll sure watch it!
@@MotoJaceee I ended up biting the bullet and just ordering the correct pack on Amazon. Won’t be here until Sunday though sadly so bikes now out of commission. Thanks for the reply though. I was following a guide on the cb650r Reddit and the guy said they were steel washers which didn’t make sense
@@planb4life1234 the copper one would definitely work. As long as you change it every oil change, you should be ok with cooper or aluminum. The part number for the OEM crush washer is 94109-12000.
I don't torque the oil filter on anything. I always hand tight it and I've never had an issue on it coming loose. U can fill or not fill the filter before installing it also never had an issue when I don't pre fill it.
Video quality is top notch. I’m saving money to get cb650r as my first entry level sports bike on my birthday. Glad found this video and channel . ❤
thank you! and you wont regret this bike! it is a really good bike! please like and subscribe! thank you
Great quality video. I also have a CB650R. What rear stand are you using?
we have the same bike but why honda say i should change the oil on 12k km??? I thought its 6k km?
Doesn't the oil level drop a little after you start the engine and need a little more after that?
It does. I do the same in cars, i start it and run it for 5-10 seconds then shut it off then check the levels right after.
For next oil filter change, You should tighten oil cartridge with 26Nm. It’s written in manual

This is exactly what I wanted to comment, awsome stuff thanks a lot and I will follow other videos !
Thanks for the feedback! I’ve adjusted it on my other uploads.
What size is the drain plug washer?
12mm
Thanks mate for this video too stuff 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
What oil filter removal tool is that
Just a regular oil filter remover from auto store. I have the one that attaches to a ratchet. It is the adjustable one.
How many copper washers did you put with drain bolt?
Just one. I used the OEM honda crush washer 12mm.
Did you use the copper washer like that bolt came with or steel like the books says to use?
I don’t use the copper washer but the oem crush washer which is aluminum

Nice video man. Could you provide a link for the magnetic drain plug? Thanks.
thanks! this is the link amzn.to/48wJjDF
What are you using for the cleaning? That little spray can.
Green can? That’s a break cleaner to just get the oil off where it dripped
Ah, that makes sense :) Thank you! @@MotoJaceee
Hey bud, thanks for the info. What length drain plug did you order, the link on Amazon has 3 options. Cheers
Hey bud! I ordered the M12 x 1.5. M12 is the size of the bolt and 1.5 is the thread pitch.
What tank pads do you have, please? :)

¿Ese motor lleva filtro de aire?
Si tu pregunta es ¿la motocicleta Honda BC650R tiene/usa filtro de aire? la respuesta es, si.
Yes. Air filter? It has but mine is stock
Hey man, do you need to set up anything in the bike's configuration after installing a full system exhaust?
Thanks in advance!
nope, just installed and rode it. a tune would pick up a couple of hp but you can run without it. so far i've put about 750miles and no issues at all.
Thanks! @@MotoJaceee 🏍
Same here, i put the full system cat deleted, works perfect without any maping.@@nichomotorizado
Your CB650R is beautiful, hey bro, don't your auxiliary headlights get hot because they are close to the radiator?
Never noticed it super hot… I mean it is LED and it has a heat sink but never noticed it being super hot. Warm yes…
Maybe you should of partially filled the new oil filter before installing & torque according to Honda recommendations so you don’t over tighten

Thank you for using (liters) when filling it with oil.
Quarts is such a bad measurement.
I can't get the oil filter off my bike right now for nothing, and it's pissing me off.
Wish the 650r had a sight glass….
next time try making your intro even louder :) but nice video
thanks for the feed back.. im working on the sound level lol
