I try and always have fresh flowers in my home even though I live in Phoenix where it is dry and 🥵 hot.

I have a few questions about Professional Glory. Never used it but am intrigued (I've been buying cut flowers for over 50 years for my home, and you got my attention by saying they will last longer). If you buy say mini carnations some of which are tightly closed, if you spray them will the unopened ones open like they would normally?-should you spray them again when fully opened? If you spray stock, carnations, or daffodils will their scent be diminished by the use of professional glory?

Thank you for the Great Questions- and for your Kindness... both rare traits these days! I'm delighted to share what I know about Chrysal Professional Glory...
It works - by sealing the Flowers ability to transpire water faster off the bloom face... meaning- that in some situations- flowers transpire water fast... Outside- heated homes in the winter, AC on- functioning de-humidifiers, ceiling fans... fire places... you get the idea...
Slowing down this process- slows down the advancement of the bloom- slowing down the process - of dying... (Let's be honest- once a flower is cut- the dying begins- we attempt to slow that down with CPG)
It will indeed slow down the opening process as well... I often warn Wedding and Event planners to get the flowers to the stage you want - regarding openness - then apply the CPG... this way your Roses for example are as open as you like- before you slow down the process...
It does reduce the fragrance for a few hours... but ever so slightly... I don't have a tendency to use it on Gardenias or Freesia- unless I am trying to HOLD them- in a spot for an Event, Photos or Video... as it will disrupt that a bit...
However- I had a wedding this past month- with Hydrangea and Garden Roses- that were super fragrant... I coated EVERYTHING with CPG- to make sure everything was staying beautiful... and while I don't notice fragrance as much as others- EVERYONE commented on how wonder the event space smelled... that is smelled just like fresh cut garden roses... so... I was impressed!
CPG- also has a botrytis inhibitor... which is super helpful- other anti-transpirants don't have that advantage... so its even more helpful on rosees...
I hope this answers your great question... you can pick some up and try it... at this link -
www.uBloom.com/BuyChrysal - it's a portal to their website- I don't make any money- just trying to connect people to a great resource~!

@@LifeinBloom Thanks. I will give CPG a try. You have taught me that I can get as much enjoyment from arranging flowers as I get from growing them.
