- I always thought this was a great story. We really dug into this guy and caught him doing a lot of unethical things. Great camerawork by my photographer Keith. This story won the Emmy for Best Investigative story of 2015.

funny when they have things like stingray tech to listen in or see what you're doing on your phone with no warrant. they probably knew but didn't care. also "traffic" stops pertain to commerce which none of us are engaged in. the uniform COMMERCIAL (code) isn't the law of the land. so they enforce things to take away rights. traveling vs driving, taxes being voluntary but are enforced with threats and jail time, deeds to properties aren't ownership like land patents. but they don't care about true fraud or else they'd fix the system matrix they created to enslave. people, humans, persons, citizens etc are all deemed corporations not living beings.
The city of Detroit should be paying Rob for doing what they police department can't or won't

The problem with this is the fact that you can buy many items straight from Facebook. I like Rob but this video was poorly done. I mean anyone who has bought anything off the internet can easily face this criticism. And none of them know if they’re buying stolen goods or not. And don’t even say it’s their responsibility to check the serial or anything, because NOBODY does that. I use to buy and flip products myself, and I found myself from buying from 3 wholesalers, and only these 3. Anything could have been stolen. I mean Rob went after the guy who purchases these items and re sells them. Which isn’t illegal, and can only be illegal if he knew they were stolen. Good luck proving that. Who Rob should have went too was the guys selling these items. Robs video on this guy solves nothing. The other people who are the ones actually stealing this shit, are unknown, and still stealing. This is unfortunate because I do like Rob but this video just jumps to conclusions, probably because it was the most interesting story sitting on his desk at the time.

As a young police officer about 30 years ago, I caught a burglar who had so many stolen items in his house, it took me 8 hours to inventory it all.
He got 30 days after he plead on one stolen bicycle.

As a pro photographer, I register all of my Nikon equipment with Nikon. And recommend doing the same with all tech equipment.

This doesn't shield you at all. You need to take pictures of your gear, and pictures of the serial numbers, and photo copies of your receipts to use to prove it's yours when filing a police report, recovering your stolen goods, and or civil court. Also, if you are able to insure your gear, make sure what you do to show proof of ownership is recognized under your policy.

I just had my car stolen a month ago. It was just recovered 2 days ago. There were burglary tools in the back seat and when I asked the police if they wanted to take possession of them they told me they have so many car thefts in Denver that they don’t investigate and I should throw them away or keep them.

Kelly's story really broke my heart... Here's some poor lady who was following her innocent passion in life only to have this POS steal it and sell it back to her... I had to buy back a bunch of my own paintings once because I couldn't prove that it was them who actually stole them.. I see these clips/videos are from a tv station Fox 2 news Detroit if I remember right anyway I clicked on a link about scams and it took me to your page and I've watched a couple videos that you've posted and I have to say keep doing what you doing you're good at what you do busting people when they've been doing wrong taking money from the elderly and scamming people out of their entire income not repairing vehicles etc you have a new subscriber here I'm from Southern California we need more people out here like you take care of business you're the man!

Ali N Yassine was in possession of felony level (due to value) stolen goods. He sold those stolen goods. He used a federal service, the US Post Office to ship those stolen goods. There is a high probability he sold stolen goods across State lines. They have both State and federal crimes to charge, arrest and convict him for. They have video surveillance as well as physical evidence to bring before both a State and a Federal Grand Jury to indict him with. With even a hint of investigation, they have enough to lock this man up for a very long time. Why haven't they charged and arrested him?

kiel hawkins Perhaps if what was said in that lady’s camera was translated to something, or seen as him displaying it in a way that shows he stole it or knew it was stolen, then there would be concrete evidence to prosecute him in the court of law, and hopefully deport him, if he’s an immigrant. That video should play a large part into how this goes, not his shady meetings with other people or some pictures.
